I just had to write a review about the installation of my minisplit system by Arnica Heating and Air Conditioning. The installers really worked with me. It would have been easier for them to install one of the outside units in the front of my house, but I really wanted both units out in the back. Even though it caused them quite a bit more effort, they took the time and a lot of care to make it work. I got a Mitsubishi system and chose Arnica Heating and Air because they are a local business and listed as a diamond star installer for Mitsubishi. I love the system and have never had such a comfortable, easy to control temperature environment in my home. I couldn't be happier!

I highly recommend using Arnica Heating & Air Conditioning. My mother had no heat and no hot water. She is elderly and is very sick. She can’t stay in her home without any heat. I called Arnica and spoke to the office Manager Rosette. She is super nice and pleasant to work with. She totally understood my Mother’s situation. She rerouted one of her lead technician John to my mothers house. John was also very pleasant and knowledgeable. He got the boiler work in no time. He had everything he needed to fix the issue in his truck. Price was also very reasonable. Thanks again Rosette and John for getting this done right away

We wanted heat pump minisplits in our 3 family home. I shopped around, and Arnica was by far the best price for the quality of work. No one else came close. They did a great job and was a pleasure working with Rosette in the office, and the guys who did the job were also great and accommodating. 2 months after install, we are very happy so far with our heat pumps. Highly recommend.

Arnica resolved the "mystery" issue with our AC system. Simon was very helpful and thoughtful over the phone. He listened carefully and immediately sent Dean to check on things. Dean found the issue within minutes and fixed it. All in all, a great experience and we're thankful we have AC again!

I have used Arnica Heating and Air since 1987, to maintain my steam furnace (boiler). For emergencies, they can usually come the same day and for routine work, the same week. If not (which is very rare), they let me know up front so I have the option of seeing if someone else can come sooner. Their prices have been fair, not cheap but fair. This would add-up to a 4 star rating, but I am adding a fifth star for customer care and responsiveness. Here are the details.

This year (2021), during my routine maintenance, I discovered that I had a clog in the tube that feeds the glass gauge. As a result, I couldn’t reliably check the water levels. Thankfully, the automatic refill was still working, so I could wait for a routine appointment. While waiting, I managed to unplug the tube, but I kept the appointment so they could make sure the tube was clear.

On the day of the appointment, they came on time and completed the work, but the serviceman insisted that the fee was more than double what I expected. I paid, but after a day of thinking, I realized something wasn’t right. Normally, this would lead to a much lower rating, but what happened next amazed me. Within an hour of my complaint, Simone, the owner, called. I didn’t have to explain anything. He had already looked up the paperwork and saw it was an overcharge. He apologized and offered a refund, which they dropped off the next morning.

The true test of a company is its responsiveness when a problem occurs. Yes, it would be nice if problems never happen, but that’s not real life. So, for their prompt responsive and good customer care, they have earned the fifth star.

I used Arnica Heating and AC to install 3 split units and a condenser. Very happy with their work. Very professional and knowledgeable. Would definitely use them again for any future AC needs.

These guys are amazing. We've been considering split AC's for three years, spoke to at least five providers, and dreamed up a dozen possible configurations. Arnica was the only provider that we didnt have some reservations about, and it paid to wait. Installers were efficient, clean, and a pleasure to have in our home. They minimized cutting, got the whole job done in just a few days, and were super responsive to (and patient about) all our concerns and questions. They even paid a return visit the next day to address a concern after the install was completed. Arnica referred and coordinated all of our contractors for us (electric, plumber, roofer, drywall repair) and worked directly with our roofer. It all went seamlessly (Rosette is a rock star). Arnica is not the cheapest option we found (nor the most expensive) but worth every penny. And a special thanks to Alex.

Simon owns the business and he showed up on time, did a thorough inspection of the house and offered me options despite the fact that I wanted the top of the line. The day of installation six workers showed up and they were done in less than five hours and everything has worked great since! I'm writing this now because I need the 2nd floor and attic done. He is still there and very capable!

After a family member mentioned to call Arnica Heating and Air Conditioning to get a quote, for at the time a hard to get, Burnham gas fired steam heater, I called them and spoke to Rosette who was very helpful to quickly get me a quote. Neil came out the next day to plan the install.
After all the paperwork was done, Neil, Alex, Mario and others spent majority of the day doing the install and didn't leave until the job was done. I also noticed that Neil and his team are very skilled at getting a quality install done safely.
I will definitely recommend Arnica Heating and Air Conditioning to my friends and family.

Needed a residential ductless heat sink system installed. The house is over 100 years old with the original ceilings and walls. 3 compressors and 11 wall units later we now have a wonderful system that we have been dreaming about. It was not the easiest of installs due to the age of the house but it was seamless. Excellent job!

The best for new installation and maintenance. Simon installed my hot air heating systems over 15 years ago and it’s still functioning like new.
Service guys were always prompt, knowledgeable and polite.
