19Great neighborhood Mexican Restaurant. Over 38 years in the same location. Excellent staff and service.
The sashimi tacos were very tasty (I would have preferred a soft tortilla instead of the hard crust)
the shrimp fajita was good.
Another spot to hit in order to enjoy Margaritas and authentic nachos! I was surprised to taste the nachos with the shredded chicken, truly worth the try.
Awesome vibes and great tasting food! The orders came fast and the quality was good for the price! Definitely recommend!
I’ve been to arriba arriba 3 times this year the first one was in June the third was in October and both times everything went fine… the second time was in September I went with an ex boyfriend… we ordered and someone brought the first appetizer nothing out of the ordinary… I kept seeing the waiters looking at my ex and talking among themselves I didn’t really pay too much attention and kept waiting for our order to arrive…when it did a different waiter comes out of the kitchen brings our food and tells my friend “be careful it’s hot.hot like you” I smiled and looked at my friend and I saw that he felt uncomfortable and disrespected we finished our meal paid and left. I don’t think my friend will be coming back to this restaurant any time soon…after that I decided to come back but eat outdoors and I will come back next summer cause the food is good and not all waiters are disrespectful but won’t be recommending the restaurant anymore.
Overall I found this place OK. Service was relatively slow and the food is fine but nothing amazing.
Great place and good food, a little racy but I’ve been many times and I don’t think it’s the establishment just some bartenders unfortunately but overall I do like this place very much and do recommend it for first timers.
We are on a quest to find the best chimichanga in NYC. This place is pretty good but not the best chimichanga I have ever had. If you ask for sour cream, it will be $1 extra!
Went to New York for the for the day. Went walking around decided to stop here to grab a bite and have some margaritas great service good to sit outside and people watch.
Ah, this place has been a regular local hangout for my partner and I for 10 years. Never disappointed. Great vibe, service and food. Feels like home.
So fun! Food and drinks were so good. Recommend the 32 oz marg, sangria and sushi taco thing
The service was so bad, mainly because of the waitress. Basically she forgot that my friend and I were there, since the beginning. The food took too much time to come to our table. She also forgot the soda!
We got a dessert as a gift for this situation. That's why I'm giving two stars.
Besides, I was expecting a real latino restaurant: it was not. I was very disappointed.
Amazing Mexican restaurant! Located in a great part of town! Restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating however requires proof of vaccination for those who want to eat indoors. Food was delicious and the restaurant had a great atmosphere! 5 stars!
Average food and drinks. Would be open to returning again for just a casual, quick lunch or dinner, but nothing to write home about.
Food got my friend sick. Almost got me sick too. Disastrous! Drinks are very expensive! Menu mentions 20% gratuity for a party of 4 or more. We were 3 and yet we were charged 20% as if we would not tip them
Would not recommend!
Staff was awesome however food didn't taste Mexican at all. I had the chicken mole and they just served grilled chicken with a bland mole sauce. If they offer chicken mole then they should stick to the recipe which is made with stewed chicken not grilled
I went here as a walk in with no preavious booking.
First point: the mâtre of the house was a professional. He knew how to accomodate us quickly and effective. Absolute plus for a good start of the evening.
Secondly: our waiter: the guy just knew his business and, again, outstanding service.
Third: the tacos and the burrito were with no exageration just perfect.
Minuses of the place:
First of all everybody says they have good margueritas but I've tried 3 of them in one evening: guava, passion fruit and watermellon. I can say this: If they would have to go to an exam with these drinks, they would lose their license. Drinks were horrible.
Secondly: their ice crem with lava cake I choose for desert I have only one word for you: stay away from it.
And third and not last, their prices have nothing to do with all these described above. Simply exagerated.
I would go there again only to eat a good taco, but for sure I won't try the marguaritas again.
Solid mexican spot.chips and salsa were amazing, and side of rice and beans were flavourful.
