Excellent food! Service is a little slow.in true Israeli fashion.but if you can get on board with that, what you receive in return is pure deliciousness. A unique and CUTE cafe in this old home with all vegetarian offerings. I had a delicious eggplant stuffed malawach that was even better than I imagined (I'm not usually too into "vegetarian food") And they have these chocolate coated cookie balls? I still dont know exactly what they are, but they're delicious! After trying 2 flavors - s'mores and cookie dough, i had to return to the counter to buy one of each of their other flavors! Great coffee too. Very good. I'll definitely be stopping here every time I cross the bridge.

Better to reserve or call before going. The place is very cozy and the staff are friendly. The food was very fresh and delicious. Coffee is good too. -1 cuz We were a party of 5 yet they added 20% on the bill for a party of 6 or more.

I was a frequent guest at the Art Cafe but today, first visit since the beginning of the pandemic, was my last time. I ordered an orange juice that never came. Latte came look-warm. I asked for sugar twice and in the end, I had to get up and find it myself They didn't have burekas. Waited half an hour for the first part of my order and another 10 min.for the rest. The bread came burned (see photo). Speaking with the manager was useless. She denied change of management, but I can't believe this place would go down in such a way. Such a pity.

Meh Cafe and Terrible service. I had ordered ahead 2 lattes and later feeling a bit hungry decided to add a croissant to my order. When I told the cashier, Gabriella that I would like to add a croissant, she informed me it would take 25 minutes as she had to put the order in the computer and I would be last in the long queue. Fine, I understand so I replied that I could not wait 25 minutes. The cashier then proceeded to help the patron behind me, there was no "thank you" or any dialogue to let me know the transaction had finished. I left with my 2 lattes and then realized in the car that she had charged me for the croissant after I told her that I could not wait. Why didn't she ask me if I still wanted the croissant? I am used to paying close to $10 for a latte so the price did not alert me to the charge until I checked receipt. Luckily, I have a friend that lives near by so I told him to pick up the croissant so that would not waste my money. A little customer service goes along way. Won't be returning.

Food and atmosphere were great! We definitely plan to come back. Our food did take about 30 min before it arrived, which wasnt great, but it was worth the wait!

Love this place - great atmosphere and outdoor dining, delicious salads and appetizers and the best coffee.

"Gabby" refused to seat me and my friend because she is Asian, said there were 2 people ahead of us on the wait list but there were more than 3 open seats.

This used to be my favorite place every time I’m in town but this time the food surprisingly lacked flavor! The labneh was a big disappointment as they are using a completely different type of yogurt which had no flavor! Also the other breakfast dishes we ordered equally lacked flavor especially salt and pepper! Unless I have covid and lost my taste this was a huge disappointment this time around!

We love Art Cafe, definitely recommend it! But they rarely get a order correct, and I mean rarely. We’ve been ordering from here for 2 plus years every other week…… and it’s extremely rare for them to get the order right. Most of the time they forget something or just don’t follow the order and sometimes you just don’t get what you ordered at all. Always check your order and they will fix the things you feel are worth fixing.
Also they use plastic take away containers…. For every item. Which makes it harder to justify ordering from here abs we limit what we order bc of the leaching from plastic on hot or warm foods. It’s 2021, past time to be more environmentally friendly anyway possible.

As a frequent guest at the Art Cafe, I was shocked with the poor service I received today. It was particularly embarrassing because I had a family member that I took for the first time. Even though we had reservations, we waited too long after being seated. My coffee came too cold for my taste. When I requested that it be warm up, the waitress told me it was not possible "because I have already drunk" (a sip, that's how I knew it was cold). Further, I was told that if I wanted another hot coffee, (as it should be a coffee!), I would have to pay for it. All my guest's choices, from the menu, were not available. We asked for sugar that never came. Lastly, when I asked a paper cup to take the coffee (to warm up at home), I was given a cup without lid, "sorry we don't have any lids left". My guest's toast came burned. It truly felt as if they did not want/need customers today.

We had a great large group party this weekend at the Art Cafe. Special kudos to our server, Juda (spelling?) who was wonderful. The food was delicious and everyone had a great time!

Absolutely love this place! Aside from the food being delicious, the staff are courteous and the esthetics of the restaurant is charming & beautiful. Will bring everyone in my entourage here).

The two stars is strictly due to the poor service/awful waitress we had. If the waitress hadn’t been terrible I would give them 5 stars for the food and ambiance. We cut the waitress some slack in the beginning thinking the restaurant was probably short staffed and super busy. Even when tables cleared out she barely paid any attention to us. Later in the evening we asked for a 2nd glass of wine which she didn’t bring. We asked another server as well and still didn’t get it so we gave up and just asked for the check. The waitress brought the check along with the glass of wine (after at least 20 min). I asked her if she had charged us for it already since we were ready to go and she very rudely replied that she had and we could take our time finishing it or she could refund it if we wanted. We just paid and didn’t bother getting a refund. She was clearly annoyed that we even asked anything and definitely didn’t see any issue bringing us a drink so late when we had finished eating. At that point it was obvious the issue was the waitress. She avoided our table completely after that exchange and I had to ask the person at the take out window for a box for my food. The food was good but the waitress was so horrible she ruined the entire experience. To the owner, I highly recommend you offer this woman (name starts with an A per the receipt) training or have her in another role. She never once apologized for her attitude or poor service. I had been looking forward to going to your restaurant and now I do not think I would return despite the food being good.

As a quick getaway to a seashore like area, my wife and I along with our poodle went to Art Cafe for coffee and some pastries. We ordered a cup of Americano and dirty matcha latte, and an order of Fatoot. As expected, they were great! We sat outdoors and enjoyed the early Fall cool weather. The only issue was insects - bees and mosquitoes. Bees were after our pastry, and mosquitoes were after our legs. It would have been a perfect getaway if it wasn’t for the nuisance part of nature.

Last Labor Day, I took my wife for Brunch to Art Cafe, Nyack.
I didn 't mind having to wait an hour. However.when Seated inside,
I found the Restaurant /Cafe DIRTY
Very neglected. Owner hasn't put a dime into the business. As for the Art? Who the F-K wants to to buy a painting for $750 of a Skull.
I have an Art History Degree. I know Art. Art Cafe is B S. You need to CLEAN Up your act. Walls Floor, counters. Especially now duri g a Pademic. Your food is also just Passible.
During the Pandemic, he could have painted, replaced Cushions, replaced/refinished the Floor. So
Much ground in DIRT.
Not going back.much grou d in Dirt

One of my favorite places in Rockland county. The hummus is to die for, and the ambiance is so peaceful.

My friend brought me here for my birthday, i really loved it. Its more like vegetarian place and super healthy. The team that work here were super nice and friendly. The only disadvantage about this place is that you are limited with time, they giving u only 1.5 hours to eat and leave which make no sense to me but i guess the place is is so popular that they want to be able to serve everyone.
