I've been experiencing severe feet pain for over a year and kept being brushed off by doctors because I'm a bit fat and told I'm "over sensitive" since I'm a woman. But I finally went to my Dr with my foot swollen and she believed me and sent me to AHA due to family history. They are the first doctors I saw that believed my pain and didn't write it off. Unfortunately it is nothing arthritis related so I can't continue to see them. But it really meant so much that they actually listened and believed me and helped be get to the right specialist to help me deal with my issue.

I missed one appointment and was sent this letter. It was typed up 2 days after the missed appointment. I didn’t get a phone call to see if I wanted to reschedule. We’re all human and forget things. This is very unprofessional and very rude.

I have been a patient here for a couple of years and on more than one occasion I have to wait over an hour to be seen. My most recent is it I was scheduled for a 4 pm time slot. I explained that it would be tight for me to make it there and I was assured that it would be ok if I was a few minutes late. When I showed up they refused to see me because I was 8 minutes late. They doctor apparently won’t see you if your more then 6 minutes late! I am also wheelchair bound and they took no allowance that it was a 45 drive. I would like to say the care when I received it was ok thus the 1 star rate but nothing worth the lack of respect. I overlooked them disrespecting my time because I live 45 minutes away I didn’t know of another option closer. I will not be going back.

Last appointment I discussed my pain with my NP, who in turn suggested Prednisone thinking I may be having a flare. After more than a week when my pharmacy never contacted me to let me know that the script was ready, I called the office, who in turn said that there was nothing in my notes regarding the Prednisone and the NP was on vacation. They did fill the script for me, which was appreciated, but this shouldn't have even happened. I am also moving out of the area and requested a change of date (earlier) in my appointment so that I could be seen prior to moving to another state so that I could be up to date on my prescriptions, giving me time to get into a new practice. After I had not heard from anyone, I logged onto my chart and the appointment had ben cancelled and not reschedule, with no phone call. Very disappointing as patients with any autoimmune diagnosis should not be left without meds that have taken months to build up in their system.

My 1 star review is generous.what an absolute joke of "medical professionals". The only modality they know are prescription drugs. They don't want to hear about your lifestyle, diet, stress levels, etc. They were forcing me to commit to infusions at 35 years old and because I was uncomfortable with that they sent me a letter saying I was no longer a patient. Yet, I was taking the 2 other prescriptions they told me to. They know nothing about true health and wellness. I was told diet has nothing to do with inflammation. The staff also made it next to impossible for me to apply for short-term disability while I needed a little time to heal. They didn't fill out my paperwork properly, called and harassed my disability representative, never forwarded my medical records after asking multiple times. I could go on and on. If you are someone who wants to be heard, given other options besides drugs and want to be treated like an intuitive human who knows their own body, don't make an appointment here. For the record, my health is improving after putting in the work like changing my diet and lifestyle. But, that takes time, time that they don't want to give you at this office.

Hello. Ive read these negative reviews and as appalling as they are, I have never once seen or been treated in such a manner. As far as this place being filthy, that patient had to be in the wrong building as I would never step foot in a medical facility with bad hygiene. I guess I'm just lucky? Or maybe it's just they are frustrated with trying to find a diagnosis or maybe unable to accept their diagnosis? All I know is RA really does suck and it's a long frustrating road even after diagnosis.

Where do you even start? The office is outdated but more than that it is dirty, I don't mean a little dirt I mean unsanitary and could cause an infection dirty. Then there is the dismissive doctors who can and will get away with this because who else are people going to see in the area? I was treated like human garbage during my appointment today, and I was ignored when I told them what I am dealing with regarding my health. I attempted to report the abusive doctor and there was an attempt to make seem as if I misunderstood the situation. These people need to held accountable.

Thank you Dr. Abdulky! After going nine months without a diagnosis you figured it out immediately! My husband and I can’t thank you enough. Your staff was very professional from the minute we walked into the office. You made me feel like I was your only patient that day. You listened to both me and my husbands concerns and we never felt rushed! Thank you!

I feel fortunate to be a new patient of yours!

I would highly recommend Dr. Abdulky!

My doctor referred and made an appointment for this practice- it took 6 months to get an appointment. They send a VERY long, automated appointment reminder text with cancellation info a week before. Beware: it’s mandatory to reply yes to the text or call the office to confirm the appointment or they cancel the appointment you made months prior. I didn’t reply “yes” to confirm the appointment in the text, which is an honest mistake. When I got to the appointment Monday (an hour early in fear of them charging $50 if you aren’t there 30 mins early which is on all paperwork and I was hyper focused on that), they had cancelled my appointment apparently the Friday before. They called but I get so many spam calls each day I probably silenced the unknown number. They charged a fee of $50 and “best they could do” was reschedule for the end of October. Making it almost a year. I cried in public for the first time. I’ve never heard of such a crazy doctor policy. An appointment is an appointment and I didn’t cancel, they did, and punish the patient.

There is a reason why this doctor's office is rated so low. I was a patient for 9 years, had 3 or 4 different doctors some good some bad. Never did I expect to be literally yelled at for wanting to discuss my long term disability. I had thought about leaving before but good Rheumatologists in our area seem few and far between. My last and final appointment left me wondering how can a PA know so little about a disease she supposedly specializes in? How can she know so little about her patients? Why isn't she willing to try anything new that has had some success? And why does she feel yelling and treating a patient in an unprofessional way is ok? I have talked to others who have had a bad experience here and I'm relieved this happened as it lit a fire under me to finally leave a place that did absolutely nothing to help me other then giving me hydroxycloriquine. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else where you have a chance to find a doctor or PA that actually wants to help, has knowledge of rheumatic diseases and wants to help you with your issues rather then farming you out to other specialists Goodbye and good riddance to AHA!

This place is steadily going downhill. I've been going here for 20 years and actual care is gone.

I felt the doctor I saw was dismissive and uncaring. She didn’t address my pain. Went twice. Cancelled my 3rd visit so I wouldn’t waste the doctor’s time.

Was seen by NP Christine Welker and her nurse Amber who were very kind and courteous The Np did a thorough exam and addressed al my concerns so i was very pleased with the outcome of my visit
Had been seen at my last visit by Dr Pascuitic who was also very thorough in her exam and explained everything regarding my diagnosis in great detail
Cannot recommend this team highly enough and feel very reassured about my condition

I've been a patient here for over a year. I've never waited a long time to be seen. My first appointment the doctor listened diligently and let me know all the options he was thinking of. After that I saw his PA going forward. She's been amazing. We've ruled out quite a few things and they've really helped me understand what's going on and how to make my quality of life better.
