Artichoke Pizza reviews
24Bad pizza and slow service. I guess the slices are huge. The menu is deceptive also as they don’t say that you can but a single slice for $7. Instead they say you can buy 3 for $20. You have to ask for a single slice.
I Got caught in the rain and walked in to get a slice of artichoke pizza. I was told I could not sit unless I spent $20. I asked if I could sit outside (where there’s a roof) and finish my slice. “Not possible” said the host. Cold!
It takes only cash. No credit cards or debit cards accepted. The host/server was rude and took forever to take our order. The busboy (he looked like a school kid) was very nice. The owner or the manager was constantly yelling at the host/server for messing up the orders etc. I pity the owner as he seemed genuinely cared for good service to customers. Maybe he has problem getting good help.
Holy cow wow. I was skeptical at first but this place sold me on their slice. Absolutely must go back to have it again!
Fantastic quality pizza! The artichoke was one of a kind and phenomenal. Beware the pizza is hottt out of the oven. But so good!
Never was there such a rich and buttery pizza in all my life, than the artichoke pizza at Artichoke Basille's. Absolutely delicious!
The place is nice and the pizza is pretty good! Definitely worth checking out if you are around the Chelsea Market or the High Line, maybe,
A slice of artichoke from Artichoke is one of a kind. Vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike come here for that one slice of pure guilty pleasure. It's just divine. Late night the love get long, but it's totally worth it
My favorite pizza place in NYC. Usually a wait for a table, and if you are a late-night eater, be prepared to wait a long time as clubbers next door at Avenue and 1Oak will be there in full force. Bathrooms need renovations though.
I love the artichoke pizza! This place gets busy, but they are pretty good about getting you seated as fast as they can.
It is over rated. The pizza is very oily which makes the pizza feel heavy in your stomach. Not the best but not the worst either.
The artichoke Pizza is amazing but I wasn't crazy about this original slice. If you're a lover spinach and artichoke dip this place is a must.
Good pizza except I am not a fan of the signature artichoke pizza it is too milky. The stars of the show are margarita & vodka slices
Everyone lined up for this? ! Ho hum crust and the sauce just tasted like tomato pasta. Staff was friendly and fast though.
Are you kidding me? How have I lived my whole life without knowing that this pizza existed? Delicious, creamy sauce. Great bite to the crust. Mouthwatering. Highly recommended!
The pizza is good and the atmosphere is very nice and casual. The only thing is that the artichoke pizza doesn't taste enough like artichoke. It's very tasty (although very rich) but I couldn't really find the artichoke flavor. Otherwise we had the Sicilian pizza which was very tasty.
I thkught the price was too high but the sauce is very thick for the slices they have and taste good. So it was worth the money
Favorite pizza place in the city, though not exactly "traditional" in the strict sense. Slices are large and should be considered when comparing prices.
Great for late night pizza but queues can be big and does feel rushed sometimes to get you out the door
