They are always popular and you might need to wait. We left our name and were advised to be available in 20-30 mins.
Their iconic menu is pizza however i love their pasta too! We ordered garlic clam, tomato spaghetti, carbonara, and broccoli/meat short pasta (forgot name).
Their dessert is also amazing. We had Cannoli and Chocolate mousse which are fantastic.
One thing, there is only one restroom!

We typically go for the pizza, which is excellent. The live music is great. My only criticism is that the rear seating area is dark and drab. I much prefer the front seating area.

We happened upon this little gem on the last night of our NY stay. Wish we had found it earlier. What a way to end our holiday? !? Amazing pizza, amazing atmosphere. Really loved it. Next time we are in New York, we will be back (and will also recommend to anyone else I know who will be travelling here). Thank you to all for being so brilliant!

Super cute place I heard about for their amazing pizza. Many dishes available, not just pizza. Great service, the waiter accommodated our requests enthusiastically.

Our reviews had over 37 million views last year. We do not get paid we just love to eat and have fun. We really love Arturo's. We love coal oven pizza because it cooks at a temp higher than wood oven pizza. This makes the crust very dry and very thin which makes it taste great with a good sauce and cheeses. Pizzas are big and yummy. Meatballs are great and so was the pasta. Great place, fast and easy to get a table most times. Make a reservation to be sure. Weekends and some weekdays they have a person playing piano which is nice. The back room is quieter if you want that but we like the noise. Check out all of our reviews. If we do not like it we do no review it so all of the ones you see are places that are fantastic. Follow us if you like. We had over 36 million views so far this year and we thank you for that. We don't get paid, we just love to eat. Be sure to click on "RobH" at the top of this review to see all of them and to follow us if you like good food and FUN. If we do a review it is because we love it.

A true NY original. One of the few remaining old style restaurants to have a carafe of red and salad and pasta with your crispy coal oven pizza. With cool jazz combos jamming in the bar. Warm and cozy. One of my all time favorite spots in the city.

Very poorly made small pizza -terrible manager! Defending the worst quality of small pizza - with thick crust and chewy-yeck! Once a good location but no longer keeping up the quality-such a shame!

We had a great time with our selection of pizzas calzones, and beers.
Arturo looks out feels nothing like standard pizza joint. Band playing, pictures on the walls, full of people sitting table to take.
Our annual (or so) pizza blast was a big hit again. They make some very special pies invoicing calamari pie and a bacon pie.

This is a classic Greenwich Village restaurant inhabited mostly by locals who come for the live jazz every night and some great food cooked in one of Manhattan’s handful of coal burning ovens. Highly recommended.

NYC classic pizza and Italian food. Rich history, delicious food, and awesome, laid back, old school atmosphere. Love coming to this place every time I can. Pizza is always a pleaser. Enjoy!

Cozy location and great vibes. We sat down and about 15 later a piano player arrived to give live music! The service was great as well and we got 2 pizza's with both being wonderful.

Fun part was the restroom which this place must have been a residence at some point as there was a full bathtub/showed in the restroom.hahahahaha gave us a chuckle. Loved the chalk board to leave messages.

Walking around Manhattan and stumbled across Arturo's at 9: 45 on a Thursday night. Walked in and figured there wasn't going to be any room but I was pleasantly surprised that a booth was open.
Sam our server was a ball of positivity!

I asked her what her go to was and ordered it up. Pepperoni pizza, and penne with vodka sauce.
We had the booth that was closest to the band, and the kitchen where I could watch my pizza being tossed into one of the remaining coal fired ovens in NYC!
Read that again
One of the LAST coal fired pizza ovens!
This right here made my heart flutter, I shed a tiny tear in awe of this oven. I knew this flavor was going to be unlike any other I have ever had in the city.

I got my pasta first. This enormous bowl of carb happiness was just the tip of the iceberg. After the first bite I immediately tried to figure out how I could funnel this entire bowl into my face hole. Yes it was that delicious!

About 5 minutes had passed of me shoveling this delicious bowl of carbohydrates and delicious vodka sauce when my pepperoni pizza came out of the coal-fired oven. This pizza was a thing of beauty. If Mona Lisa had a paint brush, she would paint this pizza and hang it on her wall.

When Sam came back over to the table and asked if I liked everything I couldn't even speak. I just looked up at her with my tiny tear on my cheek and she knew. Oh yeah she knew.

Thank you to everyone at Arturo's you are a staple. You are a landmark. You are the pinnacle of Mount Pizza with that coal-fired oven and that deliciousness. And thank you very much for your hospitality.

This place is like a time warp to the 70's. Definitely old school, but that's part of its charm. I think this may be the best coal fired pizza in the city, hands down. Great staff and the food is fantastic. I often have their regular large pie or the margarita pie, they are both great! They also have great Italian food. Take the 6 train to Blecker, walk a couple of blocks and mangiare!

The waiter was so incredibly rude, I would never recommend this place. My friend and I both had a glass of wine left when the waiter come over and took away our *full* water glasses. He said “we close at 11” even though it was only 10: 25pm and the restaurant was basically full. He then proceeded to stand over us which made us extremely uncomfortable and rushed, which was definitely his intention. We decided we had enough of him staring at us so we both called our Ubers and sat as we waited. It was very clear that we were waiting for our Ubers to come as we left our phones open on the table so he could see we were leaving and would stop waiting for us to get up. Instead of giving us the 3 minutes to wait for our Ubers, he came over to us and said “I am going to start cleaning the tables and open the door which is very very cold so you need to get up. ” It was so rude. There were still so many people at the restaurant and it was VERY obvious we were about to get up but he literally made us leave just because he wanted to start cleaning early. The waitress who brought us the check minutes before told us we could stay as long as we wanted, so it was pretty obvious he was just doing this because he wanted to leave. It left such a sour taste in our mouths and completely ruined the experience. Do not come here if you are expecting to be treated kindly because that is clearly not their style.

They open at 5 we called at 4: 30 asking if they could acquire 8 people and they said no problem. Get to the door and the guy said we can’t seat you.
