Following the death of my lil brother Blue's owner. 1 year later Blue was brought to me. I noticed a quite a few health issues as he's 13 yrs old. I brought him into the ASPCA hospital. All my concerns & questions were addressed. The staff was amazingly patient with me as I rumbled on with concerns & showed pic. And even though Blue got aggressive with the nurse & Dr.they still took care of him with kindness. Recommend this site for both pets & pet parents. The staff is great I appreciate the time & help they provided us with?

This review will be updated in a couple of days.
So far: I got appointment quickly. My kitty was treated right away, got the right treatment, checkup and she is feeling better. Will be getting a call back from ASPCA about follow up. I also use borough clinic and they are absolutely fantastic. Both my animals came from ASPCA shelter and they have done amazing work with them prior to me getting them- training, litter box training and I was able to train them as service animals after that with ease as ASPCA had behavioral team work with them both. In the future all my animals will come from ASPCA. Clinic also did their spay surgery and did a great job with that too.
To make an appointment call early. And please treat these vets with the respect they deserve- they are kind and attentive. They are kind to me every single time in both clinics I have used.

I called last week on behalf of my sister who has a sick dog. We were able to get an appointment after hours of being on hold and explaining on the phone what the symptoms are. It was made clear on the repeated recordings and the phone agent that they ONLY handle emergency cases NOT regular check ups. We were pretty much told that her dog doesn't stand a chance because she can't afford a private vet clinic or hospital care. So as we stand today her dog might have cancer, however they are NOT equipped to do senior blood panel, ultrasound. Apparently they are ONLY equipped for vaccine, spay, neutering procedures. This is confusing to me when it was repeated that appointment are ONLY for emergency cases. I asked if the ASPCA hospital has the resources and I was told my the vet- NO. We were advised to try other resources - like Humane Sociaty who NEVER answer the phone, return calls or emails. Or to try looking for an affordable private vet clinic. The vet felt a mass in the poor doggies belly, but unfortunately couldn't help us find out if it's cancer or a benign mass that can actually be treated. My take on today's appointment is that if you don't have the money or resources you should not own a pet.
Since my sister does not have the resources to pay for these test we are left to suffer along with her doggie worried of what it might be causing her pain or discomfort.

AND to read the reviews and to see that services were provided such as xrays, sonogram etc makes it even more confusing when were told those services were not available.

Let me start by saying that everyone who works at this hospital are all caring patient and understanding. From what I've seen and experienced they don't just work to get paid they love their job, all the fur babies that walk trough the door even while the staff works they take great care of they even have different pups come down to get attention and play it was so nice to see especially after my baby had to stay the night there for treatment, they sent pictures reassuring me she was doing well and called twice with updates and tons of information upon her being discharged. The facility is so clean the people are so caring not just to your pet but to us humans also, they understand our fur babies are our family. Coming back to pick her up I donated a couple of things, they take donations and could always use more items so if you have please help and donate anything helps. They do such a great job and I'm so thankful for all the great people here. Butta is now home resting and thankful for everyone who took care of her

Where to begin… On June 24th we had to take our 16yr old girl (Princess) to be euthanized as she was very sick and it was the most humane thing can we could do for her. Everyone from the front desk to the nurses and the doctor were amazing. Gave us all the time we needed to say our goodbyes and explained every single aspect of what we were to expect. We opted to keep our girls ashes and bring her back home with us. Which was well worth the cost as it was very affordable! They are compassionate and caring to a degree that is unheard of. Even the vet was trying her hardest to hold back the tears. Thank you guys for the amazing work you do! God bless! Sleep in peace Princess!

First you have to hold on for at least an hour and a half to get somebody and then when that person comes on, they'll tell you that they're booked for that day and you have to call back tomorrow they not they cannot book in advance.they book day by day which is ridiculous because then you have to do it all again the next day call hold on for an hour and a half call only to be told call back tomorrow what a joke!

I'm a single mom of 4 and Blue is my daughter's emotional support animal a house cat.blue got out and spent 4 days in the street when we found him he was near death kidney failure severe dehydration and multiple gashes and cuts and bruises that some had become infected I couldn't believe it it was only 4 days but the amount of damage was crazy they saved blue and rather then amputate his leg they spent 12 weeks with weekly visits and Dr Whitehall never gave up and saved it. They were so comforting and took the best care of him regardless of funds.

After weeks of unsuccessful treatment and no further options available to me, I came to the very difficult decision just two days ago to put my beloved cat to sleep and not have her suffer from her horrible kidney disease any further. I called in and followed the phone prompts to set up an appointment. The woman who assisted me over the phone, a nice lady named Morgan I believe, provided me all of the information that I needed and was highly professional, expressed her condolences to me and assisted me in setting up an appointment for the next day. With a very heavy heart I made the final trip with my cat just yesterday, and since the moment I stepped through the door, I was assisted by all who worked there in the kindest and most professional manner.
The process was very simple, with only a slight wait as they took some basic information and I assume got things ready for me. The doctor who assisted me, whose name I was unfortunately too distracted by grief to remember, as well as the nurses, treated both my cat and myself in the kindest way, and allowed us all the time together that we needed to say our final goodbye's. The entire place was clean and tidy and very comfortably air conditioned, and my cat honestly seemed the most comfortable and relaxed that I'd seen her over the final weeks of her life. The final process was very quick, very peaceful, with no pain or fear. I was informed of everything at every step, and they even granted my request of allowing my cat to remain with me at every single step, even for the simple part of placing the catheter in her leg, and I was the very last thing that she saw as she quietly fell asleep, and then passed in her own little bed.
I am filled with grief over her passing, but am and will be forever truly grateful for the wonderful people who work here and allowed her final moments to be filled with comfort and tranquility. As I told the doctor yesterday, and I will say again to you all, you have given my beloved pet and family member peace, and I cannot thank you enough.
For anybody who reads this and is unfortunate enough to be passing through a similar situation, I do recommend you schedule the time of passing in advance just as I did, and take something to comfort your loved one during their final moments, just as my precious cat was comforted by her own soft bed in the end. Cremation services are optional, with the remains sent to your home, and they also offer to send you a paw print if you wish.
