The staff was friendly and knowledgeable and they appeared to be following all COVID guidelines. The only negative I have to say is the wait time both in office and to make another appt is very long. A simple filling couldn’t be squeezed into their schedule for over a year.

Though I do have to wait a few months for my cleaning appointment I was happy with the actual dentist, she spent several minutes speaking to me and explaining things.
The x-rays 3D were very impressive I like this practice and would recommend them to anyone so far as this my first appointment with Aspen.

My first visit to Aspen and I was very pleased. They squeezed me into an appointment on a busy day. The staff, hygienists, assistants, and the dentist, were all fantastic.

We were seen an hour past our scheduled appointment time. My son let go of the thing he was supposed to bite down on during the X-ray. Instead of trying to get the X-ray again she said it was fine only to be told by the dentist that there was nothing they could do for him because he couldn’t complete the X-ray process. I feel they should have allowed him to try it again. They were rushed because it was lunch time. I did not have a good experience there and would not recommend.

I like all the doctors and other employees at ASPEN.
However the one thing I did not like was, they added
a $131.00 electric toothbrush to my bill. I did not ask
for one, and no one said they where going to put one
on my bill. I felt like they tried to pad their coffers by
slipping things on the bill, and hope no one notices.

The Cicero Aspen Dental was awesome. Especially Thomas Reschke he took his time and made sure that my dental prosthetics were perfect and fit comfortably. My teeth look better than 100% real. THANKS THOMAS!

Would not recommend.
My husband and I had back to back appts, they took someone else in between, "to fit them In". We were there for three hours.
Felt like I was being sold things. I feel bad for the people who fall victim to these people.
Thought I was getting a cleaning- never happened. In fact one hygienist had quit and there was only one hygienist to do the work of all these people sitting in the office.
I called to talk to corporate headquarters, no contact and it's been over a week. I called to get my records, they said they sent them (never got them). Had to make another phone call to get. What a mess.

I had my first appointment at Aspen Dentals Cicero office yesterday and they were wonderful. I have had a few bad experiences with dentists in the past and was very nervous going in. They were all great and fit me in for some emergency cosmetic work. I will definitely continue going to this office.

I hate dentist. Yet this was the best. TRULY polite and caring about you as a patient. Great experience.

They see what your insurance covers, Jack's up the rest and make no offers of payment plans like they claim. They have a company that loans the money for a criminally high interest rate. Their commercials say they have many plans. That's a lie!

Very unhappy, we have been there countless times for fittings and different problems. For the amount of money we spent there this should not be the case.

Aspen dental used a non-standard ultrasonic cleaning treatment that was not covered by insurance without asking me whether I consented to an extra fee. They then proceeded to attempt to upsell me on a powered toothbrush and gingivitis treatment. I will not be returning.

I give 2 stars instead of 5 for a few reasons. They had great equipment, and unfortunately were understaffed but they still made sure I was seen which was great. However.
I went there with a pain on the right side of my mouth and it's been really hard for me to eat the past few weeks. I couldn't figure out what it was so this was the reason for scheduling my appointment. I thought the two teeth that was hurting could need a route canal but I wasn't 100 percent sure that those were the teeth. They did some tests, and once confirming that the pain I was feeling wasn't in those two teeth they moved on and dismissed my problem. I was a little upset about this because I had made it clear this was a big issue and I was truly hurting. So, I went home and knowing it was going to hurt I proceeded to take a ice cube to every single tooth on that side of my mouth, and the third tooth I touched was the one that was causing it. Now I have to reschedule and take time off work just to have them tell me that this is indeed the tooth causing the problem and then make another appointment to get it fixed which is going to take months to get through this process when I struggle to eat. It wouldn't have been much trouble to take something cold and put it to my teeth which would have taken a few more minutes.
When i went there I felt like Aspen Dental was not focusing on me as a customer, only seeing the big picture. If they would have taken a few more minutes to take my problem seriously and try and figure out where the issue was coming from my life would be so much easier and I would probably have my problem fixed by now. So in the end of this experience I felt thrown around and like I wasn't seen properly or that my appointment wasn't given the proper time it deserved.

DO NOT GO THERE! I have never felt the need to pray in a dentist chair up until now. As I was making sounds to indicate pain, the dentist would try to soothingly tell me that what I was feeling were sensations that were new to me, but were not pain. Let's be real. Don't we all know what pain feels like as opposed to other feelings?
I should have paid attention to others in the waiting room and their negative comments about the treatment they had received. LISTEN!

The dental assistants were fantastic, very nice, helpful and more than willing to help each other. I would only go back if they were they only people I had to deal with. Other than that, I felt really scammed, total bait and switch. FIRST RED FLAG: When I made the appointment as a new patient for a cleaning, I made sure my insurance would be accepted. I was told it was. When I checked in, I was told it wasn’t, but “they would waive the fee for today. ”
SECOND RED FLAG: Dr. Mercuri has the worst bed side manner I have ever experienced. She had a very condescending tone, was dismissive of my questions, and came off as very judgmental and rude.
THIRD RED FLAG: I was there for a cleaning, which never happened, not even close. Why is there only one hygienist at a practice this busy? As a new patient, I should have been told about the bizarre new patient procedure.
FOURTH RED FLAG: when I was leaving, I was pressured into making another appointment for a procedure that “may or may not include a cleaning. ” Was told to put down at least a $200 deposit. Granted, since they don’t take my insurance, I get that, I felt like I was getting the run around and couldn’t really get a straight answer. I

To sum it up, they really just want to up-sell patients unnecessary procedures, the dentist was abrasive, I left confused and really angry and I will not be going back. BUT, I’ll say again that the dental assistants were AMAZING, they would get 5 stars.that’s it.

Asked for an appointment for routine cleaning, half hour late bringing me back, 1/2 hour to take x-rays. Then I waited and waited for them to tell me I need this package and this work done. Then they told me I was all set, what about cleaning my teeth? We don't have time to do that this appointment. Wasted 2 hours to accomplish nothing, what a sham. Never ever again, best as I can tell they never have any intention in cleaning my teeth on the first visit, but they don't tell you this when you make an appointment.
