I has a tooth pulled today & a temporary bridge put in place until the permanent one is finished. No pain. I repeat no pain at all. Looks great too. Can't even tell I had dental work done. Thank you so much Aspen Dental.

No wait time for my appointment. Dentist and assistant were very courteous and took time to answer questions. All went smoothly!

I would of given Aspen a five star review without even blinking an eye. However, since last November (2022) they have called about a week prior to my cleaning appointment to cancel them stating that the hygienist either quited or had an emergency and that my appointment had been cancelled and I was being put on a hold list. It has been over a year from my last appointment and I am guessing it will be another six months to hear something from them.

My 95 y/o mother lost her dentures in her nursing home, affecting her ability to eat. I called the Canandaigua Aspen office on a Friday and got her in on Monday. She had her new dentures the following Monday. Everyone - from the dentist to the assistants, to the lab technician, to the office/business staff were extremely attentive and caring towards her. When she left, she was smiling for the first time in days! My brother and I could not have been happier with the care provided by Aspen Dental. THANK YOU!

So far I am NOT impressed with Aspen Dental as a whole! I checked online and they take my insurance. I made an online appointment. About an hour before my appointment I was called and told that not only do they not take my insurance (as advertised) but they do not have availability for the appointment that their website allowed me to make! They were no help at all!

Went to Aspen as I am new to the area. Never billed my dental insurance for any of the work done, all of which is covered by my insurance. They offered a credit option to pay for 800 dollars plus. I had a couple fillings and a cleaning along with x-rays. Refused to do the extraction until all other work was done. The filling done on my front tooth was done just over a year ago and is now broke so I have to have it redone. As well as rough fillings that also throw off my bite. I'm also
having to fight with the credit company over charges for work not done and work that should have been covered under insurance. Save yourself the headache and steer clear of this place.

Random staff walking into exam room not introducing themselves. Unclear that the cleaning needed to wait for the next visit, which is booked out a year from now. Front desk staff were very nice and welcoming at least!

Excellent care, I had a female doctor and I felt no pain with the injection of novacain and my fillings. Outstanding, she explained everything that she was gonna do!

Rose and the doc. Did such an amazing job. I was able to have a great connection with a believer and I was able to get my root canal by the grace of God the first time in being seen. They took my tooth pain away immediately and the fear of a root canal is now gone. They literally had it done in about 35 mins.with zero pain and no gas. I'm just amazed at the service all the way around. From the very moment you walk in to the moment you leave. It feels like a dentist office in your own home. That is how caring and loving each individual is to their job.

Calling ahead of time to schedule:
I spoke with a woman in the financial office and asked questions about my insurance, etc.they do not take healthplex, which is fine because she said that X-rays and the exam were free. I knew this probably wasn’t true but scheduled anyways. After the visit I ended up getting a print out of a $600+ itemized bill (for some things i never even received) She gave me what she called “the budget plan” option which is a yearly subscription that auto-renews of $39 to cover it. There’s likely there’s hidden fees etc.they make it seem like such a good deal when in reality the initial large bill was for things they didn’t even do.

After the visit they won’t let you leave without your signature on the treatment plan they give you. No time allowed to think it over.

The visit:
I came in for a quick exam on a small chip i have on a tooth. As a new patient i got full X-rays done. I spent 30 minutes having to do each section 2-4 times over and over again because the girl did not know how to place the instruments properly to get a good picture. She was obviously in training but unfortunately was very nonchalant, lackadaisical, and clumsy knocking the large instruments in my mouth. I was never asked if I was okay with being a guinea pig or agreed to be exposed to 3-5x the amount of radiation because she had to re-do each picture.
30 minutes of “Oh we have to do it again” and improperly placing the X-ray instruments was almost enough to get me to get up and walk out. All i wanted was someone to look at a single tooth.
You would think after reviewing my medical history that they would at least be mindful of the amount of X-ray radiation a cancer patient receives and have someone actually skilled do it. Luckily a real technician came in for the last few pictures. It wasn’t nearly as uncomfortable or painstakingly slow as it was with the trainee.

I am not confident in the cleanliness practices there because a day after my appointment i have something like a canker sore on my cheek that I’ve never had before. Concerning to say the least.

The doctor who examined my tooth for about 4 minutes reassured me that my chip was minor and likely from jaw clenching/ grinding. He said if i got it filled he would have to file the area down which would cause potentially more damage if i were to grind off the filling again. I was unsure if I needed a filling in the first place but I appreciated the honesty and reassurance.this 4-5 minute interaction was billed as a comprehensive exam.

Respectful and make you feel comfortable with your situation. They find a way to help with everything and explain the procedures in detail. I recommend them.

They can't be bothered to find your correct insurance, will scam you for an obscene amount of money, and won't get back to you. 0/5 stars. Edit: go to finger Lakes Dental, they're actually good people and fair
