Aspen Dental, Oneonta NY

Provided dental services for my family in May. Charged up front; submitted claim to insurance company and received reimbursement from our insurance company in July. They still have not reimbursed us for the up front charges and are not helpful when we try to call the office.

Tried calling the number suggested below by the "Social Care Team. " No one answers.

So there is no talking to a one on one person just only schedule a appointments by pressing #9 that pure laziness but that’s the world we live in nowadays Aspen dental said they would get ahold of me in January well January is here and no call back

Excellent, no wait & prompt professional service by hygienist and dentist thank you painless.

It took two people to get my x-rays done correctly. The first one hurt me quite a bit, and the second one was much better at it. Almost all of my time in the office was spent with assistants doing x-rays. The dentist herself spent less than 5 minutes with me, despite the fact that I had come in complaining of pain, and barely looked at my mouth. She never even sat down. She said there was nothing, and had no suggestions for cause or treatment. When I got out to the front desk, they told me she had marked two cavities to be filled, but she never even told me I HAD a cavity. If I can find anywhere else to go in the future, I will.

Staff @aspen office were very accommodating. I had very little wait time
Staff helped each other. And appointment were very easily arranged. Everyone was very helpful understanding, on happy mood. I would recommend this office to all my family and friends

This place is horrible. Better to pay out of pocket than go here. The dentist was rude, did not speak directly to me and tried to force treatment on me. When the treatment was but then I requested the cleaning I came for, they would not clean my teeth. The receptionists were cold towards me when I left, Totally opposite of the way they treated me when I arrived. These people don’t care about you. The corporation hires the cheapest staff they can find and is only interested in profits. You get what you pay for if you still want to go here. It’s sad because there aren’t many options in this rural area. Drive the extra miles if you have to. DON’T GO HERE!

Elizabeth said her experience was good. She was very happy with with Doc M on he got her numb. He was very friendly and joking with her. Doc D was very good. She likes both doctors were great.
The only thing that was bad is the waiting for the doctor to come into room to do the work. The doc said she was sorry for the wait. But it wasn’t her fault. The front desk put in a procedure in overflow that she needed an hour for.
Otherwise Elizabeth was very happy with her experience.

Been going here for a few years. Oeople are very friendly and helpful. Always discussing options.

I scheduled and appointment with aspen dental for the next day to get my tooth fixed. I received confirmation about appt. The day shown up for appt, (today) and found out appt was canceled. They removed me off schedule. I tried to get appt back for today, they say there's no appt openings for today. The next day would be tomorrow, Wednesday.
Don't go here. Beware! Its worth to go somewhere else. Service isn't good and makes the work they perform not good. It shows the quaility of the professionalim they provide.

This was the best dental visit I have ever had, everyone was so friendly and nice, I would highly recommend aspen dental

It was over priced and the workers was beautiful. Thank God for my son i don’t like women. $1900 to pull 2 teeth wow.

Scheduled me for oral surgery. Told not to eat all day. Went to office only to be told I didn't confirm when they called me.
They NEVER called me to confirm and this wasn't the first time this has happened.
Girl at front desk didn't care.
Will NEVER return to Aspen dental!
Not to mention they over charge!
Plus they charge you twice for cleanings! Keep your receipts!
Edited to add that the few people at the counter also did not receive their confirmation phone calls.
So, Aspen is lying, it's receptionist is lying, or the surgeon decided to take a day off.
This scheduled and prepaid appointment lost me a day and a half of sick leave from my job, and they didn't seem to care at all.
Edited 11/8/23 to add that I got my records and copies of my X-rays from Aspen and went to a new dentist today.
I found out that Aspen has been unnecessary work for more money, (scaling, deep cleanings)
When I went with my troubled loose molar in the first place and I saw De La Rosa, she told me the roots were wonky and I needed oral surgery and paid 1/2 up front, only to be turned away on surgery day because they never called me to confirm. I just found out that the roots on that molar are fine and my new dentist will be removing it. I do not need oral surgery or anesthesia!

AVOID ASPEN DENTAL AT ALL COSTS!
SCAM ARTISTS ONLY CONCERNED WITH YOUR MONEY AND HOW MUCH THEY CAN PUSH ON UNSUSPECTING CUSTOMERS!

This is absolutely atrocious!
They've been making bank off of people who can't afford it!

First off my teeth have been a nightmare for years and dentist after dentist saved the hopeless teeth. A couple turned a black color. Beg as I might the only thing I could manage was repair or pull the abscessed. My teeth according to insurance companies were hopeless and the dentists only said they were failed when accessed. These infections were bad before I felt pain since the teeth were repaired by root canal.
Now for the Good News! The Aspen Dental in Oneonta is like no other Aspen dental I used. I have been begging for my remaining teeth be pulled and I receive an upper and lower denture. The dentist looked at my expats and opened with this. My concern is your overall health and you would be best served with a complete upper and lower denture. “FOR THE BENEFIT OF MY OVERALL HEALTH. ”
Finally a dentist that cares about me, my health. Not the college tuition or inground pool or boat they wanted.
Already the impressions are complete wax bites.next week and when the temporary teeth arrive I will have the very few teeth that remain. I am now on my third infection in 2 months. Started antibiotics early this time. Hopefully no fever or intense swelling. Antibiotics take longer to work as the antibiotic loses the broad spectrum strength and ability to take care of the infection.
I am so pleased with my experience so far professional and clean office. I look forward to better health, energy and losing (my self conscious) missing and discolored teeth. All the damage due to a medication’s causing dry on mouth and periodontal problems
I am walking on sunshine with new hope of white mouthful of teeth Currently only 2 teeth can actually chew. The last fell apart eating ravioli.

I'm so pleasantly surprised at how wonderful my experience was today. Everyone I encountered was pleasant and professional, and I really felt valued and well taken care of. Dr DeLaRosa is a sweetheart as well every other staff member:)

I wish there was a zero star review. Every time it is a issue. Went to an appointment that was confirmed and the confirmation was confirmed. Received another reminder 1 hour before. Drive the hour to get there and the front desk tells me i don’t have an appointment and it was moved a week out? No apology. Tells me “we can fit you in but you need to pay before we do the cleaning. We can do you this favor. ” The people at the front desk are constantly totally rude. Patience are a total annoyance to them. It is worse than the DMV.

The Hygienists are absolutely wonderful and do great work. I feel bad for them. I will miss them!

The place is completely booked to there is zero motivation to improve the front desk experience.

The real issue is they have zero oral surgeons available or appointments for cavities. So if you are in pain it could be MONTHS until they can get you in if at all. The mis diagnosis's send you on a wild goose chase from one surgeon to another. They don’t even have anyone to refer you to. If you need a Root Canal for example they told me to “call around”.

Highly advise against going here don’t be tempted by the low introductory rates.
