Kenny Ellis is a very good assistant manager. He is very helpful along with the rest of the staff.

Kenny Ellis gave a great tour of the apartment, and is very polite and friendly. He hosted a great Halloween party and I had a good time. A great friend to have.

As this is my second lease with Aspen Syracuse I have been able to see changes in staff, leadership, live in various buildings, and have even worked in the leasing office. Through the ups and downs of dealing with the on-site management staff, Gabrielle St. Pierre has shined above all. By being honest, transparent, professional, and personable I have witnessed firsthand and experienced Gabrielle's ability to navigate challenging situations, upholding company policy while meeting resident needs.

Assistant manager Kenny Ellis has been extremely helpful in accommodating us here at Aspen. He is very reliable and has great social skills.

Gabby rocks! She's been amazing throughout my time at Aspen. Whenever I had questions about payments, she was patient and super helpful. And when I lost my keys, she totally saved the day without any hassle. Her customer service skills are top-notch, and she's just awesome. Thanks a bunch, Gabby, for being so cool and making things easy!

I recently stopped by while visiting family in college and I was very appreciative of the staff and community here. Although it was brief, the assistant manager Kenny was very friendly and helpful. He got me where I needed to go without the hassle. His customer service and social skills are top tier. Thanks Kenny!

This particular student housing was not what I was looking for in regards to my daughter. Kenny Ellis was an excellent tour guide and extremely friendly. Kenny is an excellent representative of your facility.

Had a tour at Aspen Syracuse with Assistant Manager Kenny Ellis. He was very personable and knowledgeable. Answered all my questions. Tour was great. Lots of parking, apartments are very nice and the location is great.

Fully-furnished units with utilities included, these apartments are a great choice for students at nearby Syracuse University and LeMoyne College. 24/7 technical support for WiFi, parcel lockers for deliveries, and pet friendly living are just some of the perks.

Im intolerable with their dearth of professionalism. Each staff has different story to talk to resident about the promotion. I had a confirmation about 60 promotion applied each months and it already applied in the last two bill, but right now a manager from somewhere made me pay in full for my bill. If i did not have that promotion why the hell would I live in such stupid and full of bad reviews like this. STAY AWAY FROM THIS!

Classes have not even started yet and my car was broken into. How is this supposed to be a "gated community" and keep us safe when it is not. Especially all the money I am paying to live here. That is a joke. My insurance should bill you based on your gross negligence and how this issues keep happening. Looks like this could be a potential law suit.

Yes here's my updated review of Aspen Apartments.

First off, I'm not sure why I'm being charged $145.00 for damages. I was already being charged the $35.00 general cleaning apartment fee. The apartment was left in excellent condition. Check out pictures for proof (photos taken on July 28th, 2023)

Always take pictures before moving out!

Next, if you are out the typical college bound age range 17-25, I would think twice before moving here. You wouldn't blend with the existing culture.

You do need a car to get around. The Aspen shuttle does not run frequently like a traditional bus system in New York City, or any other urban area. You need your own car/vehicle.

When you need something fixed, the maintenance staff will take forever to fix the problem, leaving you to suffer in silence. Expect delays upon delays.

If you should ever have a medical emergency, good luck getting the paramedics and emergency staff to help, they can never find the building. Just imagine that and you need emergency medical care.

Security staff can't escort you to hospital. Not sure why. You better off calling a Uber or have someone drive you to the hospital.

Aspen the Good: AC, stove, microwave, washer, dryer, dish washer, vending machine, parking, gym, customer service, security, etc.

Expect high noise levels during the weekend, young students love to party hard! If you seek total peace and quiet, good luck!

Make sure you have friends to hang out with or make new friends. You'll feel lonely in them apartments.

Lastly, clean all furniture and bathroom before using to protect yourself. The cleaning staff does minimal work. You have to put in the labor to get it clean to your satisfaction.

Do not believe any review above 1 star. Do NOT move here, yes do NOT, just like I learned my lesson, One bad review is enough and I am applying this to my everyday life. There are rats in the unit, i bought my own treatment cos I could not bother with this people, i want no interaction with them. Their alarm is uncontrollable beeping and maintenance has been to this unit sever times even to do an alarm test. The building was built with cheap materials. Its funny how they want to charge you $35 for cleaning but also want you to do move out cleaning and also after you pay the $35 on your monthly rent bill they want to take it out of your security deposit. When you move in they do not come in and do a move in inspection with you but want to do it when you moving out or after? There is something call wear and tear. You should not have built the building with cheap materials and think i will be responsible for "wear and tear". Thats not happening you can apply the security deposit to the rent. I will see you in court

Aspen has been a great place to live for many reasons, and that’s why I have continued to renew my lease each year for the last 3 years. It is a very quiet community with really nice living spaces. Having a washer and dryer in unit and covered parking were both really important to me. The staff here has always been so nice and extremely helpful whenever I have needed anything. I highly recommend Aspen & would keep living here if my time in Syracuse weren’t up.

Leaves a lot to be desired. Aspen is good at hiding behind corporate bureaucracies to get out of being honest and forthright with their residents so they can take advantage of them.

I'm a law student at the university. I was told in October that they would be offering the lowest renewal rates at the time. The rate went up $50/month, so naturally I wanted to take advantage of that deal, before things got even more expensive. However, then I got an email in February that said "this week, renew at your current rate! " I called the office and explained that I'd like to take advantage of the deal they were currently offering. They told me there was nothing they could do because they "didn't know the offers that would be coming down from corporate, " and I had already signed a lease (that hadn't taken effect yet). So I'm being taken advantage of because I believed the offer they made in October. Obviously, I will not be renewing another lease with Apsen; I'd suggest you do the same.

Love this place! Any issues that come up (few and far between) get resolved quickly. Good neighbors, great staff!
