Associated Supermarkets of Alphabet City reviews
16They follow you around when they are the ones stealing I'm custom I being helping them out l been going there 8yrs. They do stupid stuff and seen people the stealing they say nothing they be playing their self and they cheat you out you money
Its sooooo expensive. I try not 2 buy 2 much cauz it hurts my pockets I will usually spend my time & $ in BJ's
Your standard local supermarket for all of your regular food needs. I come here regularly, but note they don't have anything high-end / no nicer meats or fish.
I haven't been to that location in several years since I used to favor the 14Street store until it's closing over 2+ yrs ago and still missed very much
The Ave B store is clean and well stocked for it's size It's quite small but still a welcome addition to the neighborhood CTown bet 12 & 13St and the Fine Fare is on 5th Street are quite a distance As for prices well we know they are RISING everywhere you go I suggest if you can check the stores weekly specials to try and save money
It's a very small supermarket with very little space for shopping in the isles. Like all the supermarkets around here, the prices vary.
This place is well organized and had everything I was looking for. The folks there are so friendly too.
We only purchase cold cuts from here.
Update: so this has changed. We now purchase all of are meat's from associated, as well as are produce!
I went in to get an order of cooked oxtails with rice n beans.i was informed 3 oxtails were 15.00.and the rice n beans were 4.00.unexceptable! I spoke with manager. The oxtails were pretty good but not 15.00 for three
Casa Adela prices are the same but it's an Puerto Rican Cuisine not a supermarket.
Too expensive for me, i took a long bus ride and to my surprise of just expensive they gotten, 8.99 lbs for garlic. I can i get at whole foods for 3.99!
Their location is ideal for me, and there is generally more than enough parking. The atmosphere is enormous, and the service is outstanding! It comes with a strong review!
The cashiers here seem to be too busy having a conversation with each other than dealing with the customers.
Has decent prices but very weird experience today. A man was screaming and crying (?) over the intercom and no one was doing anything about it. Cashier has no idea how to pack groceries and handles fell off the second I left.
Store is clean and adheres to COVID-19 regulations. The aisles are tight and items not clearly priced however the clerks are helpful when a price check is requested.
I'm glad they're still open but since covid19 the shelves are empty, and the hoarding by the hipsters in da hood during that was inexcusable. The check out girls are always moving the customers out fast and they're friendly and helpful as well. The deli counter is just okay as the choices have thinned out. A good deal with a whole cooked chicken, two sides and a 2 liter soda that costs around 12 bucks. Again, I'm just grateful they're still open.
Food looks neater in this place and cleaner but it cost more comparing to other supemarkets
Overly priced and the food in the freezers from meat to vegetables everything is understocked so options are limited.
