Nice place and wide selection. Odd restrictions though.certain foods on certain days. I'd come here again. Waitress was nice.

Staff was great but the food was another thing. Breakfast was served cold and bland. Hollandaise sauce was broken. I was very disappointed. Might be back to try lunch or dinner.

After spending two decades as a patron of your restaurant, you managed to destroy it in less than 30 seconds!

You would think knowing people have the ability to pull up your restaurant and review immediately, you’d be a little more careful with your food and customer service.

We’re all aware of the stress the pandemic has caused on businesses, but some seem to function without major problems, while others don’t care one way or the other. You’re the latter.

You served raw French fries with a to go order and when given the opportunity to correct the issue, you failed in a magnanimous way. Not once, but twice, tried to accuse me of not bringing the uncooked ones back when I did, then blamed the person at the register didn’t hear me or know what to do and then claiming to be closed before correction was made on my order. I wanted to bring the whole to go order back and throw it at your windows! But not even you can force me to waste my hard earned money unless it was ordering and expecting cooked food to be served when it wasn’t.

This isn’t my first issue with your restaurant, but I made a lot of excuses for people who clearly don’t deserve it or my families patronage.

Eventually, you will do this to enough people that you won’t have any local customers who will knowingly go into or order from your restaurant anymore.

I hope the owners wipe up the floor with all of you involved.sadly, I know they don’t have the ability to fire your butts because they are looking for people currently.

Breakfast was not up to par.homefries were old everything was Luke warm not a good meal. In the past always always good.

Not the worst but not the best either but they are pretty good pretty much the same as any other Greek restaurant like this…last time I went to pick up take out they forgot to make something so I had to wait about a extra 15 20 mins but a waitress or manager idk…noticed and gave me a free dessert so that was cool

Dinner was really good. Unfortunately most of the staff were either overworked or annoyed they had to work.especially the person seating us. That plus the fact prices have shot up means we probably will never return

Very disappointed.they are apparently too busy and short staffed to do a soup sandwich combo for takeout. Even though I work across the street and order from them quite often. Guess I will have to take my business elsewhere.

I was looking for a good diner and Athena's fit the bill. The staff was friendly and attentive. They had good coffee, fast service, and great food. My husband was very happy with his eggs, bacon, home fries, and toast. I was happy with my pancakes and bacon. We'd definitely return and recommend the restaurant.

I had read the reviews, which is why we tried it in the first place. We got right away but then was neglected. The appetizers were over cooked. Our entrées took forever and it just wasn't good. Me and family will not be back.

All I gotta say is $4 for a small glass of orange juice and no refills! Also while eating there was swearing and arguing between staff (waitresses and cooks) Very unprofessional and overall not a pleasant experience.

Our favorite close to home restaurant and great food choices from Greek, American, and Italian foods. Give this a 5 star. Hope it stays open. We were getting take out very often as well. Thank you for home cooked meals.

Great restaurant. Always clean with great food and service. Prices are reasonable and have never had a problem with a meal.

The portions at this establishment are incredibly big! You have to come with a really good appetite To make the most of it or take home a doggy bag!

Got the full French toast platter that came with eggs and bacon.it was hugh. I had 4 piebseof bread (look like baggets) I could only eat 2. We were seated immediately. Food came out within 15 minutes.friendly service. We were just googling places to eat before we headed back to the airport and this came up. Very glad we stopped

My first time eating here (take out) and my stomach reacted to the Chicken Souvlaki Wrap… not a good day at work for me at all! Not sure what went wrong but I think I will pass next time.

Good food and wait staff, unprofessional language from the back for a family place and a lousy owner who doesn't treat staff well.

I had the prime rib which was a big portion but very dry and no taste to it also tough the au jus tasted like dish water the gravy on the mashed potatoes was the best thing that I had

Was just there today with my son. The servers at your table where nice (that's the 2 stars). However behind the counter the disgusting talk (swearing, unprofessional etc) was not needed around customers. My son order the chicken and gray or gray and biscuits either way it was cold and gross when he got it. So we ordered something different. My omelet was just gross and had to reorder that as well. Just not worth going to again.

Had not been here in over a decade. It is a holiday weekend and the parking lot was crowded. We got a seat. Surprisingly I recognized the waitress/server from over a decade ago. She said she's been there 23 years.
The plates there are huge. My friend got a souvlaki. Everything looked so fresh. Not a wilted green on the plate. Fresh chopped tomatoes, olives, large chuncks of chicken. A hot pepper. Perfect looking pita bread. My friend hadn't been there in a year, but knew she'd wanted that meal. She had to get a box to take the leftovers home.
I was not familiar with the menu, so needed help declaring what I wanted. No problem. I said what I wanted and waitress/server pointed it out on the menu. Everything arrived just perfectly, Eggs cooked over as I'd requested. Chopped grilled onions and peppers with the homefries, 3 sausage links perfectly browned. Wheat toast and packets of strawberry jam. Was so happy to have a breakfast in the afternoon, while my friend was able to get the lunch she'd wanted.
Meals going to other tables looked fantastic-and huge.
As a big water drinker, I felt bad about it, but ordered throughout my meal 4 large glasses of water. All served promptly. There is a reason this place has such great reviews. Parking lot is always busy. Funny thing is the road we took to get there, the street Athena's is located on, all three vehicles ahead of us turned into the same parking lot: Athena's. That was a good sign.
