Atlas Social Club reviews
17Not a fan of the bar's layout, but the current bartenders are very professional and friendly. Hope they keep it up!
BAD BARTENDER EXPERIENCE! While this place seems to be a staple in the commuunity, they may need a reevaluation of staff. Recent experience was ordering drinks for some friends, giving card, and trying to order AN additional drink (singular for another friend). Gave first AND last name (as I have a common name) to the bartender to who I ordered the previous drinks and he asked for my card. I told him my name MULTIPLE TIMES and he couldn't find it. Had to recount all the other drinks and magically he found my card after that. The attitude throughout was an attitude of disbelief and rudeness. Needless to say, I closed out after that.
Solid bar. The drinks were on point! Special shout out to Joe or Joel (it was a little difficult given the music volume) - he was super friendly and made amazingly balanced drinks. Love the vibes and solid music playlist.
Definitely coming again
Pretentious waiter who’s not even trying to be helpful or kind. We left for the bar next door.
Evidently the bartenders here do not rely on tips for their livelihood. Choose your bar accordingly.
Atlas is a more low-key gay bar in Hell's Kitchen. No drag shows, but Zack and Yoel are super friendly and the drinks are well made. It can get kind of loud as the night goes on but it's still a good place to meet people or hang out with your friends.
Only go here if you want to get spiked.
4 friends went here on a Saturday night. They had one drink. 2 ended up in the ER and 1 nearly died walking home.
We will be following up with police as well.
Bar is ok. Some people in crowd can be very pushy (even after being told that one is not interested)
I was there last night with a friend (both him and I are persons of color) sitting at the bar and we both noticed the music video playing on the TVs were displaying white men in black face. It was instantly unsettling, and the response to immediately turn the programming off was delayed up until the noticeable facial expressions of discontent of my friend and I. The irony of things is this is not the first instance where something of this sort happened, previously black face was displayed on the screen from a music video that was selected by a patron. If I’m not mistaking the app that is used internally is “jukebox”, which has songs/videos that are hand picked by the establishment. That may speak volumes to what kind of establishment this is. Therefore ASC will no longer get not even a penny from me.
Good music and feels like a regular bar found in most USA cities. Drinks are priced based on NYC market rates. I'll check it out again for a quick drink as a pre-gane spot.
Only 4-5 muscle boys made out with me in the bathroom. Total letdown! And the drinks were constantly over poured! It’s like they want us to get drunk.
I love how welcoming everyone was including other customers. I love the atmosphere. I will come again
Very easy vibe. Friendly Crown of all ages. Small cute dance floor. Living room feel. Gits well like a great pair of shoes.
Me and my friends ordered drinks and then we never saw the waiter again. We had to find a random employee to try and a order some water and they said they didn’t offered tap water to customers. The bathrooms were dirty and didn’t have paper towels the toilet didn’t flush all the way either. Wouldn’t recommend this place unless it’s a last resort to drink.
There’s Jóel whose great. The crowd is otherwise superficial. I kept going back for Jóel and once brought a friend from Cuba. J was not there so Marco and I told the nasty bouncer, “Hit the road, Jack, ” we’re not gonna come here no more no more no more!
I had a great time there. Loved the service, the people and the concept.
Great drinks & sides. I ll be back.
2 Long Island Ice Tea and came with two hotdog, they said we have to serve with food because we are sitting outside and it’s pandemic. Everything cost $40 what a rib off during pandemic.
