Atrium DUMBO reviews
15 The food here is very good and the ambience is wonderful.
Something the wait staff seems undertrained, probably owing to extremely inconsistent hours. The restaurant will open, then close for weeks, then reopen, etc. No notice seems to appear on the website.
I wish they would either open consistently, or move on, at this point.
This was a great dinner experience. The food was so good! The drinks were also delish (and strong). I got the scallops & prawns and it was uh-may-zing. The hostess & waitstaff was also good (although whatever guy answers the phone is a bit sarcastic). Overall, loved this place and will def be coming back.
While the server was nice, the service itself was just okay. The food took over an hour and a half to get to our table which is very unfortunate. No apology was given. Once it did arrive, it tasted great!
Came here on a sunny Saturday for brunch with a group of 4 people. We reserved in advanced and were seated in the upstairs dining right away. Love the ambiance of this place. Very airy space, high ceilings, rustic/industrial décor. I had the omelet which was great. Table gave high reviews for the burger and melon salad.
So so good. Never fails to amaze me. Consistently amazing and good quality food, along with great service. We came on a Thursday evening around 5: 30 pm and there was a few empty tables around us, we sat outside on the terrace. Food came out quickly as well, everything was delicious! I’d definitely recommend and I can’t wait to come back!
Menu was great, cocktails were fantastic, and service was perfectly attentive! Will go back
Google prompted me to give a rating. This is a rating from over a year ago. Best to ask what’s wrong than start to assume.
What a delicious experience.
Decided to venture out to Atrium on a rainy Friday, settled into a cozy seat at the bar and was lucky enough to be served by the talented Jimmy.
The Summer in Jalisco cocktail was both perfectly spicy and refreshing - can’t wait to come back on a hot summer day to drink this again.
Must gets for food:
Raw oysters - the spicy margarita granite was a very nice touch.
Filet Mignon beef tartare - deliciously seasoned with capers, shallots, and cornichon. Tasty treat with the toasted sourdough bread.
Seared prawns & diver scallops - wow wow wowww. Cooked to perfection. The pan fried risotto paired so well with the seafood.
Roasted halibut - still dreaming of that saffron sauce.
Strawberry tart - I love strawberries and this is one of the best desserts I’ve had in a long time.
Chocolate spring rolls - if you’re a chocolate lover, you will die over these.
Overall a beautiful space and very friendly service - will be back soon!
The food was good! But thing that really bothered me was that i made a reservation for a terrace that was my main reason. And when i arrived, they told me the terrace was closed.so my question is why did the app allowed me to made a reservation in a terrace if it was close, to be honest i think they did not want to open the terrace because there were few customers. The food was good but is not like the best food that i tried in my life. Also i prefere shake shack hamburguers than their hamburguers. The staffs were nice.
If 6 stars were an option, I would gladly give it to Atrium. My wife and I recently chose this restaurant to host our wedding dinner and came away wildly impressed with not only the food, but the acute attention to detail, and excellent service. The manager, Leslie, was exceptionally responsive, diligent, and most importantly thoughtful about her decisions to make our wedding day very special.
The quality of the food is top notch (seriously, try the Roast Chicken or NY Strip and you won't be disappointed), and the cocktails are incredible (recommend the Frose for a hot summer day). In addition, the decor of the restaurant has been updated (thanks pandemic!), and nicely adheres to DUMBO's "brick and timber" motif.
Aside from our wedding experience, we have visited Atrium numerous times (once since the pandemic ended, and a few times before it began), and each time we left the restaurant quite happy with our meal (including brunch, and dinner). What are you waiting for? Check this place out!
Great food, service and drinks! The decorations and ambiance were spot on. Went on a sunny day outside to enjoy the city and was more than impressed! Definitely coming again soon!
Probably my wife and I's favorite restaurant in Brooklyn. We went there for the first time right after it opened back up after the pandemic, and now it's our go-to spot. The service and food are truly exceptional. Some of the friendliest and best service we've had. For food, the burger is tied for best burger I've ever had, with the other being the Emmy Burger at Emmys in Brooklyn (both use Pat LaFrida beef!). Everything we have ordered at the Atrium has been incredible. On our last visit I had the ribeye and my wife had lobster pasta. Both were exceptional and cooked perfectly. For desert, the Strawberry tart is so good! And the Burrata cheese plate for an appetizer was also incredible. We also think their watermelon margarita with serrano infused agave tequila is our favorite drink in NYC. Too many times we have a great meal somewhere, but when we go back and try other plates, we are disappointed, but not here. So far everything has been fantastic.
The wine lists are really great. The duck is to die for! This is one of the best “New American” spots in Brooklyn. Very chic.
Had a chef’s table seat tonight, and the service and food at Atrium Dumbo are spectacular. I never leave reviews but had to leave this one- because after living and dining in NYC for two years this has been the most overall standout dining experience we’ve had so far. 10/10 would recommend
