Autumn's Gate, Ransomville NY

I was visiting Niagara from New York City, and found this gem! I had such an amazing time, learning about horses and riding them! Really special place! The staff is very kind and what they do is amazing. Thank you. ️

We had our son’s 7th birthday yesterday, 7/7/23. It was such a magical experience. All 8 children were given an incredible horse riding lesson in their indoor arena. There was a lot of seating with tables for the food, gifts and presents, a heat lamp and fire place. They had 4 children at a time ride while the others got to enjoy petting and greeting a variety of animals; pig, goats, alpacas, Guinea pigs, bunnies, donkeys, cow, ducks, Turkey, emu, sheep… The staff was outstanding! They were experienced, friendly, well staffed, and there was no pressure on the time. They staff came out at the end and played a game called 4 corners with all the children, they were so excited and we were all treated like part of the family. The staff were very polite and were having just as much fun together as the children. The staff truly is like a family and want to be together. Thank you so much for making our son’s birthday so special and memorable.

My daughter and I love Autumn's Gate. The instructors are wonderful and the horses are great with children and seem very safe.

My wife and had a great time. The staff was both patient and knowledgeable. We were allowed to interact with the horses and were shown how to brush them down. We plan to return with our adult children for another outing.

We have only completed 4 lessons so far and I cannot say enough good things. Miss Rechelle is amazing. My daughter is shy and up until meeting Rechelle and “horse” Ariel all I have ever heard is my daughter lacks confidence well let me tell you by lesson #2 my daughter was standing on top of Ariel. Every morning she wakes up she asks if we can come to the barn. She tells me how much she loves. I cannot get enough of Olives continuous smiles and non stop chatter about riding. I hope this love never ends because I’m sold just like my daughter. I cannot imagine going anywhere else! We drive 40 minutes one way to get here and I would drive even further for the care my daughter is getting here. Thank you Miss Rechelle and Autumns Gate for helping my girl get the confidence I know she had inside of her!

Went for the night party with neon lights. HORRIBLE! YOU COULD BARELY SEE ANYTHING THE FACE PAINTING LADY COULDN'T EVEN BARELY SEE THE FACES TO PAINT I MEAN IT WAS LITERALLY DARK THE HAYRIDE WAS HORRIBLE BUMPY DARK COULDN'T SEE ANYTHING MY ADVICE IS TO CANCEL THAT FOR NEXT YEAR DON'T EVER DO ANYTHING IN THE DARK WITHOUT LIGHTS TOTAL WASTE OF $80

Autumn's Gate has been an amazing experience for our daughter this year. The staff has been outstanding and has helped her build her confidence immensely. She has accomplished skills that she never thought would be possible. Riding has made her more willing to try other new activities and broaden her horizons. Miss Ro has been amazing with her and constantly pushes her to the next level. Kuddos to Miss Ro and all of the staff at Autumn's Gate!

I had my second lesson this past week. I am very impressed with the instructors. I had Ro the first time and Chelsea the second. They were very patient with my total inexperience with horses. And mostly, my struggle to get off the horse. I'll have to work on that. I look forward to continuing with my visits and getting more comfortable with these beautiful horses, and hope to be able to do trail rides, if available. Thanks again,

My boyfriend bill and I enjoyed that place we had an awesome time. The lady that led the horse, she had brown or black hair I can't remember her name she was an awesome person. (Rose her name?) We were there Saturday October 1st 1pm. Thank you all for your service that place is amazing. I would also like to thank your little helpers that helped lead my girlfriend's son Allen's horse, because Allen is blind. Her grandson Ethan had awesome time to.

By far, our best ever experience at a farm! Can’t say enough good things about Autumn’s Gate! Perfect place for our special needs kiddos!

I'm 53 and have been taking lessons at Autumn's Gate weekly for over 8 months. Best thing I ever did! Everyone is great! Horses are gentle! If you've ever wanted to ride a horse, it's never too late!

I took my 4-year-old grandson to Autumn gate for toddler and me it was amazing we had a great time the staff was awesome and the horses and animals were beautiful we will definitely be going back again next season.

My 2 year old and 9 year old granddaughters had a great time. They were both a bit shy at first of the animals but the guide was very good with both of them and kept them engaged in learning. The price was a bit more than i had anticipated but in the end it was worth the smiles/fun my granddaughters had. There are a large variety of animals to touch/feed and learn about.

After Autumn's Gate was recommended by a friend, I brought a person there with special needs. They were very kind, patient, and made it adaptive for the individual. We had a lot of fun, and I plan on coming back.

I highly recommend Autumn Gates Stables for horsebackrinding. My 5 year old granddaughter and I had a fantastic experience. They matched us each with the appropriate horse, guided and gave us a great lesson. They were welcoming to let us visit all the farm animals. I'm going back real soon.

We brought our granddaughters, ages 7 and 11, here as a birthday gift. None of us has ridden before! When I made the call, Jimmy (owner) said we called the right place! And he was right!
They are super friendly and patient! We were shown how to get the horses prepared for the saddle, before getting on. We learned basic commands, and practiced with our horses. Each one of us had a staff member with us the whole time!
It was a fantastic experience, we all want to continue going there. And with the package pricing here we can!
