For whatever reason recent 4 rentals had issues from brand new vehicle having defective battery, being billed for roadside assistance when no mechanic appeared and discounts not properly being applied.

This local location Lynbrook is probably the only Avis location that goes out of their way to please the customer. Staff was great.

The car I received was in great condition and had even better mileage! Customer service was top notch and I left satisfied! I will definitely rent from Avis again

Cheating the costumers by forcing them to accept the optional cost or they will not rent them cars.

I got a car and hooked it for 2 days I brought it back and Avis charged me an extra 700$ for a one way fee I don’t understand why they would do this and not explain it to me. I will never and would never advise someone to use this Avis they are unprofessional and crazy to think someone would pay for that.

I rented from Avis after my car was being repaired in an auto shop. The car, 2023 Dodge Challenger, was the best. No problems with car rental. Easy and thorough pickup and drop off service. Price, affordable.

What an experience I had, just make sure you ask for a receipt upon returning the car.
I was being charged for a car I had already brought back and returned for 3 whole days. The woman who works at this location took my keys from me when I returned the car and told me I was good. Little did I know she did not put it in the system that I returned the car and my card was being charged for every day until I came back and took out another car. No one said anything. Actually, they were confused when I asked about the charge. It was draining having to deal with this issue period, especially trying to get my money back. The same woman who works here has a whole nonchalant attitude about the situation. Instead of changing my return date to the appropriate date in which I returned the car and helping me with the refund process. She acted as if it wasn't her fault I was falsely charged, stating, "I believe you when you say you returned the car however, the cameras doesn't go far back etc etc". I stopped listening. Are you kidding me? This matter was not about believing. Her customer service sucks. The customer service representatives on the phone keep repeating the false date I return the car shown in the system.
Still waiting on my full refund, it's been a month. They move like scammers.

Horrible Customer service, filthy cars, and Smokey filled cars. I told the owner that all of the cars he gave me were dirty and smelled like smoke, and he replied by saying everyone smokes in a rental, all we can do is spray.if it smells like that oh well. This is all we have. After going through about 7 cars in the span of 7 minutes, I decided to ask for a refund.

I love Avis, they are helpful, process is simple, and they are cost effective. I will use them every time. Cars are always in good condition.
