Dr. Alex and his staff were very professional and the actual work performed was well done. Post proceedure care and follow-up was excellent and Dr. A was available over the weekend for consultation when I experienced a bit of post-proceedure pain. I highly recommend.

Couldn't be happier with going to Dr. Volchonok. The place looked brand new, and the staff was so sweet. Dr. Volchonok and Mo were so helpful to me. They took their time with me an afterwards explained everything that I would need from what was most important, and what I could wait on. The entire experience from walking through the front door, to the examination and booking my return appointment was seamless! I booked via ZocDoc and was able to get a same day appointment. The first two people I met were Zoe and Mo. Both were welcoming, knowledgeable and polite. They made me feel as if I were a regular patient of Dr. Volchonok. Once the doctor came into the room, I could see where his team developed their mannerisms. It is evident Dr. Volchonok's team has the utmost respect for him. I came to the office 3 times over the next week and a half (1. Cleaning 2. Wisdom Tooth Extraction 3. Follow Up) and I actually felt sad that I would not be seeing them again. But fear not, I have my next cleaning booked for September!

I came to Dr. Volchonok's office to have an upper wisdom tooth removed. The whole procedure seemed almost unreal- i am usually super anxious about pain and needles, so needless to say I wasnt very excited, however I was so pleasantly surprised when he finished giving me anasthesia and I hadnt even felt a pinch! He was very kind and tolerant throughout the whole procedure. This is undoubtedly the sort of practice I would come to again and recommend for my friends and family, especially for those who are worried about feeling any sort of pain. Im writing this about 2 days after my procedure and I feel great with no swelling or pain! Dr. V called me later that afternoon to make sure I was doing ok and i thoroughly appreciated my experience at AV Periodontics start to finish. Thank you!

The care that Dr. Volchonok and his staff provide is truly top notch. I first came to Dr. Volchonok in September of 2017 with extensive gum recession at a relatively young age. He quickly developed a treatment plan for me, and within 4 months of my first consultation with him, he restored my gumline to normal using a combination of conventional gum grafting techniques as well as the newer pinhole surgical technique.

Dr. Volchonok’s knowledge and expertise in the latest periodontal technology is impressive in itself, but in addition to that, his bedside manner is exceptional. Initially, I was hesitant to undergo the pinhole gum rejuvenation procedure. Dr. Volchonok was more than happy to make an additional preop appointment with me just to answer the long list of questions I had, and he could not have been more patient or helpful. I am now about a month out from pinhole surgery, and my gums have never looked better. The results of the pinhole procedure are immediate – I walked out of the office after my procedure with a completely restored gumline.

I did get a second opinion prior to undergoing pinhole surgery due to its relative novelty and cost, and I can genuinely say that no other periodontal practice compared to AV Periodontics. Dr. Volchonok is knowledgeable about and trained in the most up-to-date periodontal procedures that many other periodontists are not even familiar with let alone capable of performing. Furthermore, as I said before, the quality of care that he and his staff provide is unrivaled. Preoperatively, Dr. Volchonok gave me confidence in my treatment plan because he was both able and willing to explain it to me thoroughly and answer all of my questions, he made me as comfortable as possible during my surgeries, and postoperatively, he has been easy to reach and very responsive. I could not be more satisfied with my experience at AV Periodontics and – most importantly – my results! I very highly recommend Dr. Volchonok and his staff to anybody with periodontal needs.
