I am so happy to have met Ayten! She is an incredibly gifted hairstylist and we are so blessed to have her here in Washington Heights!

I have been coming to Ayten for 6-7 years and there is no one else I will ever let touch my hair. I first visited Ayten as I was growing out my relaxed hair. I had experimented with scissors on my own and made a mess. She never made me feel bad about my hair and didn't cut more than I was comfortable with. A trim is always only a trim with Ayten.

I then went back to her multiple times for trims until I decided to shave my head completely. I was so nervous but Ayten made me feel at ease and confident about my decision.

It's been 4 years since I shaved my head and I am on the road back to long hair. I go for trims every few months and Ayten is still fabulous. She knows exactly what to do the moment I sit in the chair. She has the vision I always lack. And the great part is that she can style all kinds of hair. I've seen her do it all: everything from pin straight to crazy curly like mine. It's a pleasure to watch her work and be styled by her.

Her hair washing is also one of the most relaxing things in the world. She's got the hands of an angel. I wish I could give more than 5 stars!

Salimah is the worst hair dresser, very unprofessional, DO NOT GO THERE, they have attitude, she told me on the fone she can do my hair, she made me drive all the way from Yonkers to tell me she wont be able to

Ayten hair cuts are bomb! She’s not heavy with the cutting and will leave you feeling like a Brand new woman. She does all textures of hair very well! Salimah is amazing as well! She knows her stuff and cares about your hair. They both are great! It’s a clean environment and they are friendly with the clients. You won’t be sorry. Xoxo

Ayten takes great time and care to ensure that you first and foremost feel comfortable as soon as you arrive to her salon. From there, she'll listen to what you need, ask you thoughtful questions which all helps her to really understand what you want. Its a collaboration with her and its always a great experience. You'll definitely leave with a pep in your step, feeling fully beautiful in yourself, which is Ayten's mission. She's incredible!

She's the best10 out of 10 recommend. She's so knowledgeable about natural hair and not to mention an absolute sweetheart. I got a wash, deep condition, trim and press all at a reasonable price.

I have been going to Ayten Farrell Salon for almost 4 years. She is one of the most professional hairstylist I have ever met. She really cares about her clients and more importantly she is a damn good hair dresser. I would encourage anyone to go to her hair salon plus you will not be there for no more than two hours.
