The cutest salon ever. I will definitely be coming back to get my hair braided again. As soon as I came in I was in the chair. Fatou did my knotless boho braids and I LOVE how they came out!

I have been getting braids for years and this experience was by far the best I’ve ever had. I love that it’s a Black-owned, Bronx-owned and women-owned establishment. Auntie Ndeye did my hair and she was so nice. She made sure everything was neat and clean. I also appreciate the snack options, how the hair is separated and clean beforehand and the overall atmosphere. I can’t rave enough about the place. I’m already booking my next appointment.

I didn't have the best experience. I had an appointment scheduled for 5pm. I came in at 4: 45 to be told that the stylist that would be doing my hair was finishing up with someone else. I had no problem with that. I didn't start my hair until a quarter to 7. As soon as my stylist started the first row of my hair. She stops to go and eat without even letting me know that she was going to take a break. Now I've been sitting there in total for about two and a half hours without even so much as a dent on my hair. I didn't finish until close to 12. I don't think I'll be going back a d I'm sad because it was hyped up so much on Instagram.

Customer service is A1. Ladies run don’t walk. This is what a braiding salon should aim to be. Rose, the owner, made sure to include every little detail when building this salon from the hair washing & blowdrying being included in the service, the snacks, down to the free parking in the quiet neighborhood. Everyone is super nice and polite. Great music and just overall a good vibe. Couldn’t be happier with my hair. Came out perfect!

I absolutely loved my experience. The ambience is absolutely gorgeous. The owner is so welcoming. And my hair looks absolutely fabulous. I wish I could give this place 10 stars. This gave me the impression that I had a day at the spa.hundred percent would recommend this place to my friends and my family. Please check this place out.

Best braiding experience ever. It does take time but you’re getting quality and community - with snacks and all the bathroom breaks you need lol

Was braided by Fanta and Blessing & they were amazing and kind. Rose, the owner, is very warm and easy to talk to.

I had a great experience at BYFALUX today. I traveled from Brooklyn and I will say I wasn’t disappointed. As I arrived for my appointment my braider already had the hair separated and ready. I was seated as soon as I walked in which was a plus for me. Half way into my session the owner arrived and greeted everyone and asked each customer if they were okay and if we needed anything. I appreciated that because that’s not something I’m use to in other salons. My braider was nice as well. Overall, my hair came out amazing and I will definitely come back for my next hairstyle.

Haven’t had my hair braided professionally for 7 years. Was so happy with my bohemian waist length braids. I was able to work from the shop as well while I was being serviced Comfortably. Free street parking as well. Definitely worth the trip!

This had to be the best experience I've ever had at a braiding salon. The owner was super welcoming, immediately offered me snacks and beverages, and showing me all the colors they had to choose from.

My braider was super gentle with my scalp and so precise with each braid my hair came out way better than I expected! I also want to mention the reclining chairs being absolutely amazing because I was able to get a nap in while getting my hair done.

It was honestly the best experience ive had in any salon I have been in and I will definitely be coming back!

I believe in the owners vision for B YFA LUX she is incredibly professional. The great ambience, the place is clean, and wash a blow dry included! However, I think some of stylist could do a better job at communicating the styles with the client. I unfortunately the stylist Fatima was slow (9 hours from 8: 30 AM - 6: 45 PM. I have done this hair style at other places and it takes 4hours) and she used so much hair that I had to layer it myself at home. I feel they were several times where the owner or a more experienced stylist should have checked her work. Great concept and I will try it again but would need to talk to the owner a head of time to communicate the style.

They were so amazing and accommodating here, offered a thorough wash and blow dry included in the final price, all hair included, along with snacks and water to offer which was sooo nice and thoughtful. The staff and the owner were very kind and fun to talk to. 10/10 recommend!

This was by far the best experience I’ve had getting my hair braided! Time management is exceptional! My style was executed beautifully. I was catered to in every way possible. You can tell the owner loves to go above and beyond for the clientele. I cannot wait to return!

So before writing this review I needed to see the lowest… and honestly. REBOTTLED… very accommodating in every way possible… I had an 8 am appointment and was offered tea and coffee upon arrival… my braider was the sweetest aunty and as I write this my braids aren’t tight where I’m afraid to put them in a ponytail to workout because I’m particular. Like literally go get your braids done here! It’s top notch fr fr. And I’ve been getting compliments! Plus they blended my blonde so perfectly… life fr? !? Nah it’s worth it!

10/10 experience! All of the braiders were nice and efficient, very clean space, generous with snacks and water throughout my appointment and results are amazing

Best salon experience I’ve had in years! I got my hair braided by Fanta and she executed my hair just the way I wanted it & was so nice and welcoming. I’m very tender headed & was still able to put my hair up right after my appointment was done. 10/10 would recommend, girl don’t walk, RUN.
