Baba's Pierogies reviews
16Pierogies were pretty good, but I went there because it popped up on the Upside app. Supposed to be a cash back deal, but it did not happen because Baba's does not give you the correct type of receipt for the program. A little too clever for my liking.
We were in Brooklyn for a concert. This restaurant is very close to the Marriott hotel and the food was amazing! Fresh, delicious and reasonably priced. Super friendly and helpful staff! So glad we decided to try it out! Don’t pass this place by! It’s small but packs a delicious punch!
Absolutely amazing little gem that my boyfriend introduced me to. The food is amazing with so many different options and sides, this along with the staff being so kind and attentive makes the experience very good. I usually get the fried mac and cheese pierogies with fries and love it each time. The only downside is the location is somewhat small so it may fill up fast if they are busier than usual, but of course you can take them to go.
Pierogis were great! We built our own and they were delicious. It’s a very casual place as they served the pierogis on paper plates but it really is a great value. We also got latkes and they were amazing.
Their food was absolutely delicious. The employee was so sweet and so helpful. If you’re ever in the area, you have to check them out.
Also, definitely try the applesauce with the pierogies!
I recently had some takeout Baba's Pierogies. They're delicious and definitely some of the best I've ever had. They were wonderfully cooked and stayed warm for a very long time. I want to come back and try all the different kinds!
Fantastic Pierogies and beer. Highly recommend the traditional selections. Three orders of 5 pierogies was enough for two of us with a. 5L beer each too.
Nick was amazing! Great service, incredible quality and very nice set up. A lot of detail went into this place and it shows, definitely worth the trek from Jersey!
Though it's a bit pricey, the food is quite good. The place itself is small so be weary if you plan on dining in
Delirious! Ordered almost everything on the menu and each perogies was so so good. Great service. Will be coming back!
A vast variety of Pierogi combinations. Classic Pierogi flavors and American takes on the food. Available as small plates or larger servings.
What a delightful experience! Tasted just like my grandpa’s. We got the vegan potato, jalapeño and lemon pirogies!
Jalapeño cheddar pierogies are delicious, so light and fluffy! Cute seating area with counter for solo diners. Nice service.
Amazing food. We had the special with the sheep's cheese, feta-spinach and potato-cheese and the goulash. All were amazing. The service is super friendly.
Insanely expensive for what you get. Over $31 after tax and tip for 10 small perogies. The dough flavor and texture was perfection, especially on the fried perogies. The fillings were mediocre at best though. The potato and cheese just tasted like a mouthful of potato and the Mom's Fav variety just didn't do it for me. They also charge over $3 extra to get the standard apple sauce and sour cream for dipping. I've had much better and cheaper perogies in the East Village area.
These pierogies are amazing. I've had some others at well known places that are meh. But wow, so good here. You see them making pierogies by hand in the back, and you just inhale them, so tasty.
