My husband and I got married at Bacchus earlier this month and it was an absolute dream! Meryl and her team were a joy to work with from the moment we visited the space, right through to our wedding day. It was everything we wanted (amazing food, a fun, intimate space.) and we wish we could do it all again! A huge thank you to Meryl and her team for being so patient and accomodating throughout the planning process (including multiple tastings for food and wine) and for making our wedding day extra special. We are still getting notes from family members and friends about how wonderful the space, the food, and the staff were!

Came here with friends for brunch, and found it basic and forgettable. Essentially "fine", but kind of what you would expect of a replacement level bottomless mimosa NYC restaurant: smear some avocado on bread, throw on an (undercooked - a bit gloopy) egg, a morsel of salmon, and call it $22.

The staff is responsive, and cares, but training seems to be uneven: an older gentleman was classy and helpful; his younger coworker was mostly checking boxes.

We came here for our anniversary dinner, the food was so good, friendly staff. You can see from my pics, the rib eye was so tender and juicy, sided with potatoes and mushrooms, yummy! The French bread love it! Overall 5/5 we will be back again for sure.

Birthday dinner with the family on Thursday night. Very nice outdoor back yard space but the food was bland and underwhelming across the board. Service is very slow and inattentive as well. Not worth the price of admission. We are not coming back.

My husband and I were married at Bacchus in late May 2023 and it was absolutely perfect in every way. The entire staff was professional and kind, but Meryl in particular was a pleasure to work with. She went above and beyond at every turn in helping us plan and execute whatever we wanted for our wedding day. She was easy and fun to work with and made the day of the wedding seamless and everything we wanted. The service isn't the only great thing about bacchus; the food is incredible. It has quickly become one of our favorite restaurants. The hardest part about choosing the menu was narrowing down between all the great options - something they helped us do by arranging multiple tastings. Lastly, the space itself is beautiful, original, and a great place for a wedding. We really can't say enough positive things about our experience with Bacchus.

Celebrated my Husband's Birthday - what a wonderful place! Meryl went out of her way organizing our event. Charming ambience and savory food spiced by French speaking servants made us feel as we were in France for a few hours. Would certainly return.

Exquisite ambiance and cuisine. Reasonable prices for the menu selection. Seemed like only three employees for such a large area. (There are a few sections: bar and front, area adjacent, back section, and dual backyard.

Fantasic little place. Was here for a small wedding and everything was great. The atmosphere and staff were very nice and the backyard was perfect outdoor space.

Service was horrible the first course dirty dishes was left on the table we had to ask for them to be removed.the best part of the meal was the dessert! The food was ok not great.they ran out of lobster; strawberry crepes and onion soup.

Well, I’m clearly missing something. Off night, maybe? My selection? Could be? But I had the French onion soup. Average. Too sweet in my opinion. Cassoulet for main. It was so under seasoned. Even with all that fatty protein. The duck sausage was over cooked. Duck confit was good, but under seasoned. The hardest part was the texture. It was coated in a very grainy breading or something. It was like eating sawdust. The best thing I had was a side of potatoes. Seasoned perfect.

So lucky to have this as our local. Friendly attentive staff who give you the time to enjoy your meal and company. Extensive wine list with good advice given. Also a fun spot for brunch.

I came here with a reservation at 7 pm, and it was somewhat quiet. There were a few tables available inside and many in the beautiful garden outside. We received the food menu and a wine list, but no beverage menu, so I don't know if they served cocktails, and we ordered a juice and a beer with no notion of the price. We were tempted by the appetizers, especially the onion soup, but restrained from ordering because the restaurant was bit on the expensive side. For mains, I had the cassoulet ($38), and my husband ordered the hanger steak ($27). The dishes served one person well, not as big portions as most American restaurants. I thought the cassoulet was good, if somewhat heavy - a lot of meat and a bit greasy. The hanger steak was delicious, and the meat was cooked as we ordered. It comes with some delicious potatoes and crispy mushrooms (I don't usually like mushrooms, and I thought they were delicious). For dessert, we shared a chocolate fondant (aka lava cake, $10) and an apple tarte tatin ($10). The cook on the lava cake was perfect and it was pretty delicious, although we agreed that both desserts could be sweeter for our taste. This all came down to 112 pre-tip paying on the card (108 cash). The service was pretty good, the servers were nice and warm, and we didn't feel rushed to finish our meal. Food came out pretty quickly, too.

We hosted my son's and his fiance's rehearsal dinner at Bacchus. Meryl was great to work with and helped the planning go seamlessly- she
was very accommodating. We loved the atmosphere and the food as well as the service were fantastic. I would highly recommend Bacchus as a rehearsal dinner venue!

We had my husbands birthday here and everything was so lovely. Food, wine, service, and booking was great! The backyard was perfect for our party of 18. Favorite French restaurant in Brooklyn.

Delicious food, but several items were unavailable and the service was friendly but somewhat scattered. But it was worth it for the cassoulet and the Panna Cotta. Charging for bread and butter, though? Hmmm.

Delicious food and service but I enjoyed so much the live performance for the 20 anniversary. The ambiance was vibrant with game and music for all.
