Bagel Patch reviews
17Consistently the best bagels we’ve had in Suffolk County. We actually make the drive from Port Jefferson to get them.
Yes! Highlight… They still boil their bagels, and if you show up at the right time you can get them while they are warm!
Great bagels. However, they keep changi g the time they open without notice. No hours posted on or near front door. Makes it frustrating to go early in the morning only to find they haven't opened yet. Currently, the web still shows the incorrect open time.
I ordered “FRENCH TOAST PLATTER” because they have it on the menu and the lady gave me a Bagel with butter and powdered sugar on top of the bagel. ️ when i went back in and told her this wasnt what i ordered she insisted it was my order ️ one of the other ladys came over and asked “ french toast the bread square? ” I said yes she said “ ooh we dont have” WHY HAVE SOMETHING ON THE MENU IF YOU DONT HAVE IT, THATS RIDICULOUS!
Best bagels and twists in town. If you see a line, no worries, it moves along quickly. All the girls are helpful and pleasant.
Kettle cooked bagels, this is what LI/NY bagels are all about! Great place with friendly and fast staff. Great cream cheese with a bunch of options too!
Here goes a BOLD statement:
One of the best bagels I ever had. Had it toasted, asked for a little butter-it was slathered in butter, but the bagel itself was excellent.
With that being said, I bought a dozen to send to someone and a couple were as puffy as rolls. Not sure about the consistency here because I don't go enough, but the bagel I had was damn good. Coffee is very good as well.
The place was dirty the bagels were all basically burnt when I asked for a roll instead they didn’t have any then I said ok I’ll get my egg sandwich on a plain bagel when I asked for bacon a common typical part of an egg sandwich they don’t have any meat? Then to top it off it cost me 6$ for a cc babe and small ice tea (which they only one size so they charge like 3$ cor the ice tea) I don’t know how they have 4 stars I should have left and said forget it like I was going to do but figured I would just try them I could have gotten a whole egg sandwich with bacon with hashbrowns with a drink included for 6$ at Stacey bagels in Ronkonkoma so lesson learned will never return to bagel patch again!
This place used to be great don’t know what happened new ownership? The bagels at Stop & Shop are better now
New owners…not great service. 4 girls behind the counter, I was by myself and then another gentlemen walked into the store. They helped him before even asking if I was being helped. Bagels aren’t what the used to be. Won’t be going back.
I’ve been coming to The Bagel Patch in Medford for decades and in my opinion their bagels were the best! I have to say that the bagels have recently changed and not for the better. They used to be dense & chewy. And now they’re airy and taste just like bread. If I wanted bread, I would buy bread. Please go back to the old recipe.
By far the best bagels in this area! Good selection of cream cheeses. VG lox. Occasionally with a queue for early morning takeout. Don't worry, delays are short.
They actually have cinnamon raisan bagels that taste like cinnamon raisan and not like French toast.always super fresh and bagels are usually still warm.
I ordered an egg bagel with homemade cream cheese and the cream cheese literally melted and it gooey and there set up inside of the store is weird especially when you don’t have a choice but to look on the inside corner to try to see what cold drinks they have, you can’t pick what you want on your own and they forgot to give me a strew with my orange juice. My cream cheese was melted on it and it’s not even a little thick looks like melted butter on it, last time coming here
I hear the main guy retired. Bagels have changed they use to be the best place around, still ok but the bagels now are less crispy. Girl said they got a new mixer I think it's because they guy who use to work there for decades is now retired.
I came in on a busy Saturday morning and they were very friendly and helpful. I am really impressed with the selection of cream cheeses. There’s also a lot of variety of bagels. I had the everything Flagel and I really enjoyed it! My kids loved their regular bagels.
Great tasting bagels. They have a nice crunchy outside and soft inside. They have tons of cream cheese options and bagel choices. Prices are also very reasonable. The only downside is the building interior is not in good condition which almost made me walk out but I am glad I stayed and experienced their bagels. Hopefully they have plans to renovate or move to a nicer building because I think they will do very well in nicer conditions.
