Cool place, but you will need to climb stairs to get to it. WAY to crowded before a Sabres game.

USED to be my favorite bar. That is no longer. Has only gone downhill. Bar is filled with flies, bartenders not very friendly, can’t eat the food without wondering what vermin sat in your meal. Don’t assume you can comfortably spend time here because the bar tenders aren’t all that friendly. They’ll make you an excellent cocktail but you won’t feel welcome. Unfortunately Ballyhoo needs a major change to get back on my radar.

Ballyhoo never fails to be one of my top suggestions for Downtown-adjacent drinks and food. With their endless liquor options and delicious house-made sausages (the Short Round kimchi sausage being the best) it is perfect for the start or end of your night, or even your midday stop for lunch. Their atmosphere is highlighted by the often indie/alternative music that makes it a perfect, chill spot, while also being able to catch that night's game, if that's more your thing. Shout-out to the "Pour A Good Cause" rotating drink option supporting local causes which keeps me coming back to try each new iteration.

The Reggie Veggie is stellar. The jam drinks are marvelous. The bartenders are fabulous. Thanks for a fun time tonight!

This is not a reflection of the food or drinks. It's solely concerning the bouncer. That man is repugnant to be perfectly honest. I've never seen/hear such foul treatment to patrons before. Won't return while he is working.

Great drinks, very clean! I watched the bar get broken down for just under an hour. I worked in hospitality for several years and greatly appreciate the care in which the crew took in cleaning literally every square inch!

Great places for drinks, I wouldn't get the margarita, but nice environment, bartenderd actually make the drinks.

Love this place! The food always hits the spot and is so creative and delicious. And you have to try their mac and cheese, it’s some of the best in town.

I’ve been here a bunch, great drinks, great food, great atmosphere and one of the best door guys I’ve ever seen. This guy Lou is all over the place, greeting everyone at the door with a smile, clearing glasses, keeping the place running. He’s amazing and so is Ballyhoo. Go Bills. Go Sabs.

Really great dog friendly place. Staff are incredibly friendly. We got the Mac n cheese, which is awesome and the veggie dog is super good too!

Ballyhoo is always amazing? The Reggie veggie and a negroni is a perfect meal, and arguably the best food in buffalo. Definitely check it out

I fell down their outdoor stairs that are falling apart. Since then I have had nothing but pain and health issues. Be careful. They are dangerous.

Really fun little place for drinks and homemade sausages! Pickles are a must! Would love to come here again. Prices are expensive for the drinks. My mojito had fresh mint!

Dug the vibe and the food. Great secret chip flavor ;)! Just the right kind of busy to keep you on your feet. But not to wild to have a short meal. Try the house whiskey!
