Bamboo Southampton

Good little Asian / sushi place in the heart of Southampton. Really good happy hour specials! Highly recommend.

If you have dietary restrictions DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE! Lots of areas to identify allergens and areas such as Vegan. The Bamboo Vegetable Ramen was marked as needed as Vegan and Gluten allergy. It had an egg in it. Every item was marked as vegan and gluten allergy. And left in the notes. I had to pause this review to help people with gluten allergies who are now vomiting. This is dangerous and shows a huge issue with the management of this restaurant. If anyone has an allergy or sensitivity GO SOMEPLACE ELSE! They are dangerous. They will kill someone. I never write negative comments.but people need to be aware.

An all around disappointment. I reserved a large table (12) and we were seated with 4 tables near each other in their outside room. It was freezing cold and they gave us one space heater. The waitress was nowhere to be found most of the meal. Took forever to get water, drinks, and food. The food and drinks were not good either, once they got to the table, if they even did. Several orders were never even brought out. They were extremely busy, but I dont think that warrants how bad it was. Also, got a mandatory 20% gratuity (which I did know ahead of time) for 10% gratuity service

Waiter claimed to tell me I was underage, when it clearly stated otherwise, horrible attitude and very hostile then yelled at me asking if I was gonna still order food, extremely inappropriate then claimed to be the owner! So rude, I come here all the time. Ridiculous.

I was highly disappointed with the food. By far, this restaurant is the worst Asian cuisine I ever had. The chicken teriyaki was dry and rubbery. The blue crab sushi was basically bits of fried crab that I only taste the grease. The California roll had imitation can crab. Highly wouldn't recommend this restaurant. I'm surprised that it received a high rating. Obviously, those who gave it a great rating have no clue what yummy Asian food tastes like.

Absolutely amazing stuff! Food and am ambiance they welcomed everyone and every gender with such love!

Favorite place in the village. Jess is the most welcoming person ever. Great drinks and great food!

Food is decent. However it can’t be enjoyed as there is an EXTREME sulfuric (rotten eggs) odor going through the outdoor seating section the entire time you’re eating. Imagine eating inside a bus station bathroom during peak hours, that’s the kind of odor you’re dealing with. Bamboo really needs to address this.

My favorite sushi in the hamptons. The spicy tuna on crispy rice is top notch and so are the ribs. Great menu and fresh fish. Very friendly bartender.

Returning customers here! Came out for dinner last night with a group of 6. The service was 10/10, food came out quick and we had a very large order. Great drinks and everyone was so attentive. Thanks for an awesome night out!

Bamboo has a great ambience and vibe and Jess and all her staff are warm and welcoming. The food is delicious - great sushi, chicken lemongrass dumplings and the bento box to name a few faves. The daily Happy Hour is the last great deal in the Hamptons with delicious snacks and yummy cocktails. I love the watermelon margarita - thanks to the bartender Garrett! Family friendly but also a fun bar scene. I highly recommend a visit.

Amazing experience! Went with six friends & were all STOKED with the food, flavour & service - and not to mention the extensive menu.
I didn't realize one of the dishes would be raw & without hesitation, they replaced straight away. So considerate & am very excited to go back very soon.

This place is awesome! New owner is super-sweet and very accommodating. Everyone enjoyed their food, from “the best edamame ever” to our 10-year-old twins’ “one of the best steaks ever tasted” to the sushi to the very yummy desserts. We can’t wait to go back!
