I truly love the staff and the wellness plans, however.banfield across the board needs to do something about their wait times.i had a 5: 00 appointment which i showed up on time for, and the doctor didn’t even walk into the room until 5: 45 and was only in the room for 3 minutes.had to prompt the doctor to discuss issues discussed with the assistant.being a former employee, i truly understand getting backed up.however it would’ve been nice if someone even peeked their head in to let me know they were running behind schedule.my dog gets anxious and i also had my rambunctious toddler with me so being there for an hour isn’t ideal.again, i love banfield — but their wait times are making my husband consider taking our dog elsewhere: (

This is one of the best places to take your animals for a check-up, the vets and techs and receptionists are all amazing. I highly recommend the wellness plans for your animals, you pay monthly for the plans but the savings add up. I make sure to tell everyone about Banfield and their wellness plans. My dogs flea and tick medicine is delivered to my house monthly and was very inexpensive for a year supply with the wellness plan. We even had a DNA test done and that was included with the puppy plan, normally almost $100.

Banfield is so incredibly helpful with everything. Everytime I call they do everything they can to help!

I love this pet hospital and the staff so much- they are the sweetest with my dog, and they always give him top notch treatment. They help me manage any medical issue by helping me get the best value price- sending me to fill a prescription at a pharmacy if it’s cheaper that way, or giving me the member’s discount at their shop- whatever works out best. They have been patient with my dog’s various allergies and helped find ways to treat him properly for everything. They are so affectionate to him when he comes in- and I am forever thankful to have a place that loves him as much as I do. Dr Schnabel is the vet that I adore- she clearly loves my dog, and he loves her. He’s never scared to be there and is always excited to see her. They in turn love him since he’s easy to give shots to and to poke and prod- never complaints except when he gets a nail trim. They are usually running late but with last minute emergencies, and uncooperative pets, this can happen to anyone, anywhere, so I always expect to wait an extra 15-20 minutes or so. When they are on schedule I am surprised- but again, I do not fault them for running behind. No Dr’s office is on time, but they still manage to be fairly on schedule. They have great insurance plans and we’ve saved a ton of money by getting our pet the insurance with the dental cleaning. If he needs a surgery they always schedule the surgery to coincide with the ‘dental cleaning’- this way he is already covered for being put under, and we just have to pay for the extra issue they are taking care of, whether it’s remove a tumor, etc. They’re incredibly compassionate, caring, and friendly- and they are a great value for what we pay. I couldn’t afford a private vet-and honestly, they are so great, I would never go anywhere else. Can’t recommend this place enough!

Dr. Schneible and her team are truly amazing! I have had the pleasure of having my dog cared for by her team since the day she arrived at this location (9 years), and I will never search elsewhere. They sincerely care about my pet and my family, and all of their recommendations and treatment decisions stem from knowledgeable care. They are honest about what is necessary and never push unnecessary care or procedures. They care for my pet like she is their own. My dog has had surgery with Dr. Schneible and routine care, and no matter what reason she is there to be seen, she is treated exceptionally well. Pet ownership (if done responsibly) is expensive, but I always fell that the value of care my pet received with Dr. Schneible and her team heavily outweighs the cost. Their pricing is very fair and the Wellness Plans they offer are exceptionally good deals. I will always sing the praises of the Orchard Park Banfield team to any pet owner that will listen.

This place truly goes out of their way to help your pet. They work very hard to try and work with people and their individual situations as well. I have been at places that leave you feeling like you made a mistake going to them, this place never makes me feel this way. Even at the end of life, they are very supportive and they even sent me a paw print of my beloved pet. They take the time to provide those little things that no other vet has ever done! All I can say is thank you to all of them for all that they do.

Brought my guinea pig here for an eye problem and to get his nails trimmed. They took him in the back away from me to trim his nails and I've never heard him squeal so loudly in my life.it sounded like he was actually being hurt. I burst into tears because it was that heart-wrenching. I've cut his nails before and he's never sounded like that; I understand they have to hold him a certain way and he may not have liked it but I went to an ACTUAL animal hospital with him this week and they had to restrain him and hold him in different ways (in front of me!) and he did not sound as stressed. I told the new vet that story and she said they take every animal in the back there.do your job in front of me. That way I can know what you're doing to my animal. His eye problem did not go away either, hence the visit to a new vet. Banfield wanted to charge me 50 more dollars for a follow up appointment that I needed to make, it wasn't optional. Sorry, not doing it. The receptionists here were nice enough but I can't have my animal handled in God only knows what way, and not even in front of me.

They are decent here and plans are cheap.but expect to wait at least 30 mins every visit before a doctor or assistant even comes in the room

Worst customer service I’ve ever encountered. If you try and call to talk to someone on a Monday good luck they told me the expected wait time would be over two hours. I was calling to cancel my program with my dog because the price I’m paying every month is absurd on top of the that, we got this program for pice if mind if something happened it would be covered. The one and only time I needed to see a vet they told me they couldn’t see him for 4 days. Turns out they lock you into a automatic renewal and you’re locked in for another 12 months on the policy. I tried to cancel today they said I can’t cancle until my policy is over and pay the bill for another 11 months.

Been bringing my dog Klaus here since he was 8 weeks old, he is now 6 months old and I have nothing but positive things to say! He always receives excellent care, the staff are great, I always love when we see Dr. Kivi, she is so nice and you can tell she really cares and does a thorough job! We do the wellness plan and it makes it super affordable

Very good at what they do. I have the wellness plan, easiest way for me to afford my babies pet care!

Yesterday our buddy was in a lot of pain, an issue that stemmed from the night before. We attempted to call our Vet and they were closed yesterday. So, we called here to try and get in, we just needed our Lab to be seen. They were able to get us in at 3pm. I will admit I was a bit reserved about going to them, being that they are in a chain store. We all know that sometimes the best experience don't happen with chain stores. When we got there we only waited a few minutes and the Vet took us right back. She was awesome, she was very thorough with her exam trying everything to figure out what was wrong with him. Ultimately she was able to pinpoint his ailment and was able to prescribe the proper medicine and as of today we can see improvement in him. A few things we appreciated with her was her honesty and dedication to Riley! She could have easily ordered unnecessary x-rays for him adding to our bill, like previous Vets have done in the past, but she was honest and telling us "I could order them for your peace of mind, but I don't think they will show anything and don't feel they are necessary. " Also she took a good 45 minutes with him to examine him until she could figure out the issue. She was amazing and we appreciate her and this location for their abilities to help our boy! I would recommend here 100%! Thank you again!

Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Don't discredit just because they are located inside Petsmart. They've taken care of my big pup for several years between Dayton, OH and Orchard Park, NY.
