Banfield Pet Hospital, Rochester NY

I am so pleased that I could be with Sophie as she was examined. I haven't been able to do that since the covid.

Worst service! I brought one of my cat to do the dental cleaning, after that he got pretty sick and painful, after he visited the emergency room, he is diagnosed a very bad kidney disease, polycystic kidney issue, he had bleeding in the litter box and very painful. When I reached out to them, they did not put this as a priority issue, in which case I have to make another appointment and they cannot do some ultrasound and they don't have any internal specialist. Right now, my cat feels really bad, I have to bring him to Buffalo Orchard Park Vet Medical center. I would say Banfield is really suck!

Honestly, the value for paying for the yearly membership is very quickly going down. It's worth it for about the first year of your pets life, otherwise it's pointless. During an emergency you still won't be able to get in / they won't be able to do anything. Little to no benefit paying for this yearly. Not to mention PetSmart in Henrietta is filthy, dog pee (literally everywhere), crusted into every shelf and corner of every aisle. The risk of your dog getting sick in this store is high!

Great place, great service, love the pet plan. Everyone works so well with my dog Remi. Absolutely no complaints about this place.

Overall a good experience.however, kinda pricey.great front end service.good communication. A-

I hv been here a few times to drop off my grandkitten & ea time l was greeted w/a smile from the staff - they are friendly & professional & ans all your? 's - l love being able to bring "Bronx" here.

Just had to bring our cat in to be euthanized. He's been part of our family for 15 years. Pretty sad time but the Tech at Banfield was so nice (I wish I got her name. (UK accent). Very sympathetic & kind. Made a couple paw prints in clay for us (they do free of charge for everyone which is nice) offered as much time as I needed, then the Vet came in & gave him something like valum & then the meds to stop his heart. They prepped him ahead of time with the IV line to pump in the drugs. Quick but peaceful.

Love this vet hospital. Good location. They are very professional and well staffed to handle any type of emergency or medical need that might come up. Wiling to refer you to someone if they can't handle the problem or situation

I bring my 2 Shiba Inu’s here and the staff is awesome! They always help make sure both dogs have everything they need and take the time to fully explain everything to me. They also have great pricing and payment options to encourage pet owners to keep up with routine care. They are fast and make sure my anxious dogs are not waiting too long!

Took our 20 week old Savanah kitten in today just to finish required shots/vaccine. The vet tech's were very friendly and helpful.
They also mad it easy for us to schedule our kittens neutering and last follow up vaccine.
Awesome folks over there.

Staff is always very caring and kind. Veterinarian was very good with communicating what was going on with my dog. They also have payment plans should you need them.

Good for first year of new puppy as annual fee of about $500 includes all vaccines and spaying / neutering. After first year, it is not competitive for simple Wellness checks in annual vaccines for adult dogs. Because it is a clinical setting, you do not get to see the vet of your choice. All vets and staff are wonderful but you cannot consistently see the same veterinarian.

They were very caring when our Beagle got cancer and had to be put down. They provided a room and gave us time with him. They explained the procedure to us. They called us after Chester was put down and sent a card. They did a great job.

Great place to keep your pets healthy. Staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. I was in and out within 30 minutes. Highly recommend.

This time I did the dropoff and it was super convenient. I had the day off anyways but I dropped my baby off at 9 and picked him up at 1 after the vet called and said he was all set. Thanks again Banfield.
