Bánh Mì Saigon reviews
16Best viet iced coffee! Favorite bbq pork banh mi. This is a Chinatown must go! If you are only allow to goto 1 banh mi shop in Chinatown, this would definitely the one
I've been coming here to get banh mi for years. All you need is a number one. You can customize the sandwiches especially the spice level. Less spicy means that they only put siracha on it. If you want regular spicy, they put siracha AND jalapenos on it. If you want anything out of your sandwich they are happy to do it your way. They have vietnamese coffee, a large bottled cold drinks selection, and other vietnamese snacks.
This is regarded by many chefs in nyc as one of the best bahn mis in the city.although queens and brooklyn are known to have phenomenal asian bites sometimes manhattan can have the spot that's just perfect for what you need and this is it.the bread is always fresh and soft with good flavor that doesn't intrude on the profiles of the bahn mi fillings.the pork is always well seasoned and delicious and well packed into the bread.fresh veggies always very colorful and never wilted.i love coming here when i'm in the city.
The best Banh Mi place ever! Flavor is amazing and flavor profile is just perfect. Good price too! The line can be long so I would recommend ordering and do other shopping before you pick up your order.
Food is so good! Banh Mi is delicious but it sells out sometimes so be fast! If u are in the area do yourself a favor and eat here:) :) :)
Ridiculous wait time, more than 30 minutes to get 3 sandwiches, there weren't too many people either, sorry not worth waiting for so long, the store keeps taking more orders even though it cannot fulfill existing.
They have small seating area but they have more tables outside so you can even sit outside if it's shining bright and not too cold. Would definitely recommend this place if you're in town.
Great place for Vietnamese sandwiches, service is fast. Their grill chicken sandwiches are the best.
The staff speaks enough English to get by. Some speak it well. But all you need to do is say your number and spicy or not spicy. That simple. The Banh Mi is best before 1 PM as that is when the bread is the freshest. I normally am there around noon and enjoy the hell out of #1, which is their version of the pork sandwich. Heartily recommended.
Very nice surprise place I found.past by it many times with so many choices for Viet. Banh sandwich I was impressed when I walked in saw a sign voted Best Viet. Sandwich in Manhattan 2015. So, I find it's a good value price sandwich filled with meat or veggies, many choices only 5-6 bucks.
Has the shirachi sauce by the seating.
Love their Vietnamese Sandwiches. I usually get the chicken one. So reasonably priced and they wrap it “for tomorrow” if you ask where they separate the veggies so your sandwich doesn’t get soggy.
Friendly service and clean! The hoagies are toasted a bit too long in the oven. But other than that, they are very good! I like the BBQ pork!
Cheap satisfying sandwich. Have cash on you! They do not take CC! Go wity the pork bbq first then try the cicken. Ask for extra meat if sharing and whole wheat if health nut:)
This is an Asian McDonald’s - constantly flowing with customers but they serve the bread fast so there’s never a long wait.
Tried the banh mi and loved the filling. It was packed with assorted meat and veggies. The only improvement would be if the bread was crispier.
Also tried the summer rolls and premade drinks - both great.
It smells wonderful even when you first walk in. It's amazing what $6 gets you here. They're friendly enough too.
One of the best sandwiches served almost a foot long.served for around 5$ lots of choices.clean.my recommendations bbq pork, pork chop with lemon grass and curry chicken
