Bank of Greene County, Catskill NY

A decent local bank. Unfortunately they have predatory overdraft fees. Their mobile alert system is severely flawed. When trying to get a mortgage for a second property the woman I was put in touch with never called me back. Ended up going with Ulster savings bank.
Edit: you can see by their response just how generic their customer service really is.

I rarely leave business reviews but anytime I enter this bank it is a great experience. The staff is always friendly and helpful- most recently I had the pleasure of having Genna assist me and she was very patient and kind when helping me! Thank you!

I made a cash deposit September 2nd, it's the 6th and still hasn't cleared and won't until tomorrow. Then they explained the the atm deposits are held. Even cash deposits!
The lady who called me back today just sounded annoyed.

The best bank to bank and only bank i would use, when i go to theThe Bank of Greene County, almost every teller knows me and treats me with the upmost kindness and respect. I been with them for years, ever since the Catskill Savings Bank left Catskill. I would highly recommend them.

Great place to bank with. Had my mortgage with them. They were friendly and helpful. Was the only one willing to give me a mortgage.
