We came here on our first night in new york. We were greeted in and offered drinks (the first problem) We ordered a pint and vodka lemonade, we were brought a sprite with no vodka. We then ended up getting the vodka and ordered our food. Steak and fries. The “first” meal came out and I started eating about about 10 minutes still not another plate.we asked about it and they assumed we would be sharing one steak and fries… so then we had to wait on a second one being sent out to be eaten. The steak itself was lovely but waiting 20 minutes between each person eating it’s crazy?
When it came to paying they claimed the card was not working, 3 different staff attempted to “pay with the card” we ended up taking the card machine ourselfs and it magically worked!
We did not sign for a tip as it was absolutely insane what we went through in the short time we were there and yet they still took a 26 dollar tip from our card? We will not be returning. 170 dollars was not worth what we went though

The food is amazing the services sucks. The service doesn’t warrant the price tag. At one point I had to get up from my table to find the waiter. He was on the phone at the bar relaxing! RIDICULOUS!

A person without housing spit in our meals while we dined here outside during the height of the COVID pandemic. The waiter still charged us $90+ for dinner and drinks even though we couldn’t eat or drink them. Won’t be dining here again!

My first time at Barawine. I was not disappointed! Suggested this restaurant to my date and we both ended the date on a high note. The music was jumping, the servers was excellent with bringing us our selections and ambiance was perfect. Glad O went to Barawine on date night.

My burger completely fell apart while I was eating it. The chicken wings we're unseasoned and tasteless. The next day after eating the food I was very very sick. Never again!

This place is decent! It is a very generic restaurant in my opinion. It’s clean and a decent space but the food is extremely basic and standard. We came for brunch and ordered plenty of things including the barawine brunch sandwich, croque madame, Caesar salad, hummus, chocolate lava cake, etc.it was all decent but it just wasn’t anything special when there are so many other amazing restaurants in the area. I also think it is slightly overpriced. This is a good spot if you need a quick bite to eat for brunch or drinks but I wouldn’t expect anything exceptional.

Love this place! Staff is wonderful, food is amazing and don't get me started on the sangria.secret sauce. Do yourself a favor and try it out. Completely different feel during the day and night. Great ambiance, beautiful space, staff is always attentive and kind despite time of day. At night though, Saturdays specifically, the bar area changes a lot. Even the kind of customers do. Clearly a party/after party atmosphere. During the day, very chill and classy.

Today was my first and last time coming to this place. When I walked in, I was not greeted, nor did the staff acknowledge my presence. Standing there for two minutes, a white couple walked in, and they were greeted immediately. I walked myself over to the bar as I waited for my date. There was a laptop, two seats away, and I believe the manager saw me and rushed over to move the laptop. It almost came off as if they thought i was going to steal it, but she didn't have a problem with the laptop there before I sat down. My date arrives, the person who appears to be the manger was getting ready to sit us, but then randomly asked if we reservations (the place was not packed), after we said no, she checked the sitting map for a good minute to two before sitting us. It was awkward for me because I usually leave when these things happen, but I was on a first date. Terrible first impression, and I'm very disappointed. I'm giving a two-star rating because the egg Norwegian was good to me.

Beautiful atmosphere and friendly service in a local Harlem hangout - part of the historic Mount Morris district. Excellent happy hour, drinks and menu choices. Nice food at not bad prices.

I live near here and it’s an anchor of the neighborhood. Happy hour is a great value and the staff is friendly. The food is pretty good too. It has a great vibe and the countertop section isn’t a bad place to make a new friend. Also a great place for date night. I highly recommend the truffle fries.

I went here on a Monday night for happy hour. The location is a short walk from my job which is directly in front of the 2/3 trains, which is a plus. However, my friends came to meet me from uptown and it was also a short distance walk from the metro north and other subway lines which was convenient for them as well.
The ambiance was lovely. It was dark, cozy, and quiet. The bar was large enough to fit guest comfortably without being too close to one another. Also, The happy hour deals were great! $7 glasses of wine and $10-15 dollar apps. The food was delicious. I was nervous going to a French themed restaurant, since I eat a vegan diet, but the menu had really tasty options and was accommodating to my diet. My non-vegan friends got the burger and escargot, with creme brûlée for dessert. Everything was super tasty, especially for the reasonable price. I cannot wait to go back!
