Gym BARBELL FITNESS reviews
7 My issues with the gym:
* It feels too much like a basement, they really need to improve the lighting
* The ventilation needs to be improved if possible so that it doesn't feel like a basement
* The locker rooms / bathrooms need to be gutted. They're nasty
* All the equipment is extremely old
I hope it gets fixed up because it's in a good location.
I joined this gym, and it's been nothing short of a nightmare. First of all, it's incredibly tiny - you can barely stretch without bumping into someone else. But the real kicker is that every time it rains, the place turns into a water park. I'm not exaggerating; it literally floods. It's like they built this gym in a swimming pool's basement. The staff seems completely indifferent to the issue. I've seen towels and buckets everywhere, and you have to navigate through mini lakes just to get to the equipment. I don't know if they're trying to offer aquatic fitness classes on the side, but it's a disaster. Save your money and go anywhere else! "
Just came to mention about one thing that left me upset. I here on Friday, where in maps, it is saying the place is open, and I’m in front of the door and the place is not open.
There is no messages saying why is not open, I called the gym’s phone number 5 times, no answer. And by the way, I enrolled yesterday…
That’s ridiculous!
I will give another chance, because the gym is nice. However, this whole situation is so disrespectful with other people’s time.
Grew up lifting in the 80s and 90s so I like to throw metal. This is a great place to do just that.
One of the best gym's I have ever gone too. The staff is kind and the equipment is good. The space might be a bit small but overall it is a good gym.
If you're going to the gym to lift and maybe do some cardio, this place has really maximized its square footage and has a surprising selection of equipment for its size. Membership is very affordable and is a great value. My only suggestion though is to replace some of the equipment and please clean and deodorize the men's locker room. Overall, given the price, this place is a great value.
