Barbetorium, Rochester NY

I came here before my wedding because I figured with how overpriced and pretentious it was there was no way they could give bad haircuts.

I was wrong. I had to go to a normal place after to have it fixed.

To add insult to injury there was some weird upcharge they tacked onto the bill at the end that felt scammy.

Not a good experience I'd recommend avoiding.

Got to visit here last week and had an appointment with Matt. The online booking wasn't working for me so I called and left a message and was called back quickly to book an appointment. The building is cool and parking was very easy.

The salon itself is fun and clean. Everyone there is courteous and Matt did an excellent job. The pricing is fine and around what I'm used to at other places.

Definitely going back and would recommend this place to anyone looking.

*** Updating to 3 stars. Unfortunately after several successful appointments my stylist was let go. I was noted that I would get instructions to book my appointment again and nothing was ever sent and I was never called to verify or book another appt. Left a sour taste in my mouth. ***

This place is always fresh. Jes and all stylists always on top of their game. If you don't know what you're looking for their recommendations are on point. Good scheduling and appointment reminders.

Barbetorium is still amazing. Always fresh, always stylish

For over 10 years, I cut my own hair because I'm very particular and had bad experiences previously. If you have ever tried to cut your own hair, you know it's very time-consuming, especially if you're trying to get a good fade.

Barbetorium was highly recommended to me by one of my sister's professors. I showed Anthony a picture of the haircut I wanted, and that's exactly what I got. I like to switch my cuts up, and Anthony does a great job every time. I've been going to Barbetorium for about two and a half years now. Jes, Nico, and Anthony are all great guys. If you're looking for a good haircut in the Rochester area, one of the guys at Barbetorium can definitely help you.

I absolutely love Barbetorium! Nico always does a fantastic job with my hair and the entire team treats you like family. I shudder at the thought of going anywhere else for a haircut. As an additional plus, with their precautions they make me feel very safe going there during the pandemic.

Clean and attractive space. Helpful, patient, and professional staff who know what they're talking about and doing. Each staff member is knowledgeable and attentive, so it's safe to put confidence in their recommendations and work. I've been extremely happy every time I've visited, and I leave feeling handsomer.

Anthony gives a killer haircut! These folks have great hospitality, and have been among the most professional businesses I've been to regarding COVID precautions.

My son had his haircut by Jes and I can't even tell you the impact that cut had. He is so happy with his hair and his confidence is beaming. Jes not only has amazing technical skills, but a positive energy that makes the experience a real treat! We highly recommend!

The Barbetorium has been providing high quality professional men's hair services for my husband for the last two years. He has been to a number of barbers, and they are clearly the best. They really listen to the needs of their clients and can help provide great results.

This place really knows how to do mens hair right. Cool, fun, friendly environment. Top of the line in Rochester.
