Bari Restaurant & Pizzeria Equipment reviews
7 Great service and Great prices.
I would recommend them to anyone who needs Restaurant equipment
I normally don't write reviews but I feel I must, I went here yesterday in search of a three compartment sink. Saw one I was interested in it said in "stock" but the sales person insisted I purchase the one on display outside, When I asked if I could get one of the ones in stock not sitting out in the rain I was told that was the only one, , then he kept suggesting I pay with a credit card of course 3% additional fee. But the most insulting part was the person that was instructed to help put the sink in my car. This whole ordeal was my fault, because the first sign of feeling unwanted I should have left and spent my money else where. There were so many more things I needed as a new business, but please know my money won't be spent here. Yup, I believe gender and race played a role. Went down the street and was treated totally welcomed.
I had stuff from Bari equipment which is good and good people we like the stuff and deal they take care of me they are help full people.
Bought equipment for 2 restaurants 6 years ago. Went today with a full list of equipment for another restaurant that I built.
The "manager" chilling behind his desk, refused to give me the specs for the equipment that I was planning to buy from them. ($30.000)!
And I was the only customer at the time in the whole store.
He told me to go on line and then come back.
Well. I can go on line BUT I will never go back to them.
The owners, hard working people I know for years, should explain to their manager the idea of customer service.
.
I have equipped 3 restaurants with Bari and find them always easy to work with, accommodating. Best of all they know their stuff. From building out a walk in to helping to decide which oven would meet our needs they did excellent work. Forget the word pizza in their name, These were two Southern restaurants and a Paleo place. The type of a cuisine is not a factor when choosing them.
Much more expensive than all the competitors on bowery.especially small items are way overpriced, but you might find some good deals for pans etc.
