Barking Dog reviews
20Service was fast, vibes were good, pricing is is great. Omelette was just a sheet of eggs wrapped around some vegetables which was strange. The hash browns are great
Great brunch spot. They know my local running club that goes there Saturdays and are always able to accommodate us and split checks easily.lots of menu options
Our go to for weekend brunch. I especially enjoy the frittatas, my wife the 3 egg omelets. Great ambiance and friendly service.
All day brunch till 4, good sound system, great staff, and doggies…. What else could you ask for. Highly recommend this place.
Value at this uptown cozy place.
Excellent folded Mushroom Omelette - not brown, soft and flavorful. Crisp Hash Browns! Great cotton cloth napkins. Eggs Benny - soft poached and tasty Hollandaise! Coffee - just ok.
Food was good, but we were never presented with a check. We were told an amount that included a tip (we were a party of two). I gave the waiter $$ and he didn’t return with any change. We asked for a copy of the receipt and he said he couldn’t give us one because he’d already closed out the sale. We have no way of knowing if our check was correct.
Dogs welcome. As we arrived at the restaurant neighbors were bringing their dogs by to get treats from friendly hostess. So that was fun. We had the chips and guacomole for an appetizer. Guacamole was delicious, along with the warmed gluten free chips. We both had salads with chicken breast, that were generously sized. Chicken was moist. Waitress was attentive. Atmosphere casual and friendly. We loved it
Good place for brunch in UES and the best part is that it’s pet friendly! Bring your dog with you go have happy hour prices at all times!
Fantastic! What a sweet neighborhood spot. Feels like a true New York venue cross between high-end diner and gastro pub. Food was great, server was sweet and attentive, and you get happy hour if you bring your pooch! What more could you ask for?
We wanted to have few drinks and decided to check out this place. It didn't disappoint. Charming bar area and great drinks.
Bar had few TV to watch sports.
Definitely dog friendly
We came here for brunch. There was a sign outside that it says $5 happy hour frozen margarita. When we sat down we asked our server if they have a happy hour. She said she doesn't know. We told her that we saw a sign outside that says $5 frozen margarita and she said she doesn't even know they have happy hour. She said she will ask but do we want it. We told her if its $5 we do want it if not we will order different cocktails. After a while, She came back with the drinks and didn't says anything. When she went back to get our order, we asked her if its indeed $5 and she said yes. We asked her until want time is the happy hour and she said she doesn't know. Eventually the servers change shifts, we gues because she disappeared. When we ask for the check, the drinks were not $5 each. By this time we already had at least 5 drinks each
Honestly food was horrible. Black stuff was on my ice and the burger was tasteless so was the pancakes. The decor is beautiful and the staff is nice. But the food and quality control definitely needs to be worked at.
It was about $20 for a burger. Which was clearly a defrosted patty. Pickle, lettuce, tomato. I paid extra for extra pickles. Got 2.5 pickle wedges total. It was a complete sham for the price, in quality of food (and quantity of pickles, I guess)!
Food was delicious. Brisket with Polenta is amazing. I had a frozen margarita with an upside down Corona in it! Fabulous!
I didn’t like how the manager bully the Hispanic bust boy. I’m never coming back here again. He lucky i was there with my daughter. I would had punch him square in the face.
When I spoke to the bust boy he said that he doesn’t even pay him. He gets paid in tips only witch is not a lot. I gave him a 20.
The food it’s regular and I don’t know if the guy who was there was the owner o the manager but he was being rude with one of the servers there. We feel so bad for the guy that’s at the end we just wanted to left.
Another Step Up from pure diner spot. If the weather is nice, sit outside and enjoy the view or people-watching. Food is good, and the prices are reasonable. The daily breakfast is a great deal. Come and enjoy. "Stay, Sit or Sit, Stay" works for us.
This place is super awful the owner or manager was very rude and disrespectful when we told him our food was cold, the food was mediocre we feel like we wasted our money, there are better places to eat in the area.
The service is incredible and they just added dog meals to the menu so my dog and I can eat at the same time. Love this place. Food is excellent, they let me bring my dog and the service is excellent.
If you're looking for a great spot for brunch or a place to have a meal with your pup, this is it! Great staff, nice atmosphere, and tasty food.
Management should be very proud of their employees.
