Baron's Cove, Sag Harbor NY

This place is truly special. The staff is super attentive and kind; rooms are specious and well tended to. View was fabulous, and you can’t get a better location close to town. We’ll be back!

Lovely hotel in Sag Harbor right next to Main Street and the staff is all very nice and helpful. The whole place is kid friendly especially if you have little ones they will love to explore the hotel grounds. The restaurant has really good food too. One complaint my wife was working out in the fitness center and one of the workers was spray painting / lacquering a bunch of tables right outside the room. She had to breathe in those fumes for almost an hour and was quite dizzy after. Obviously this is not a typical occurrence but still the staff should know where not to do that stuff.

The most amazing location, service, food, linens, music and ROBES! I can not say enough about this property. Come when it’s not peak season to avoid a crowd and enjoy the quiet. Barons Cove is a must visit. Kristen at the front desk understands hospitality and took our trip from great to magical. The restaurant and lounge staff were top notch. If you are trying to decide between TRH and here, choose here.

Inattentive to details. Very stingy on food/priced too high for the offering (ie, 1 waffle-$18?), and presentation if all items was sub-par. Cheese omelette so plain, no color to plate at all-garnish, fruit, etc. Service was good, but they still missed the big picture-too many things nit right with our orders, they should've offered a compensation/incentive to want to come back. Disappointing, since it's a beautiful spot and interior.

Really cute place great high end accommodations, great little bar and restaurant with weekend entertainment and great staff.

Kristen S made what could’ve been a disaster into a great experience. We arrived in Feb (Presidents’ Day weekend) not realizing I booked for March. Before making me aware of my booking error, Kristen found a way to squeeze us in for the weekend thus saving me from having to travel back home (with my 8 1/2 month pregnant wife) in the same vehicle! Hahahaha. I would definitely recommend Barons cove simply because of the experience I received from Kristen and how accommodating and understanding she was to what was obviously my error. BTW the food at the hotel restaurant was very very good as well!

We had such a lovely stay this past holiday weekend (Presidents weekend). The staff was so accommodating to our dog as well as the unexpected addition of my parents crashing our getaway. Would (and will) come again. Grateful for their top notch hospitality. Much appreciated.

It was freezing at check in and the lobby was very welcoming. Friendly faces and a warm fire greeted me when I came in for my key. The room was clean and welcoming BUT no heat! We called and someone came by after two calls to the front desk. The heat couldn’t be fixed so we were given a new room. What an upgrade! This room was toasty warm and had a loft. Plenty of hot water and we received free drinks at the lobby bar after returning from town for a night cap. Really cool bartender and live music. Despite the one hiccup we loved Barons Cove. Will return for sure.

From start to finish our stay at Baron’s Cove was delightful. The front desk (Kristen) was so accommodating. We celebrated my husband’s birthday and Kristen ensured it was extra special for him at arrival with a fantastic room, set up with the wine and cheese we selected. We loved hanging in the lobby by the fire and the fun atmosphere at happy hour. The live music makes it that much more fun! Would highly recommend for a couples’ getaway.

Loved the ambience and the location. Everyone was incredibly courteous and helpful. Cannot wait to visit again!

2nd time here. Restaurant was amazing. Had mussel, they were the large ones, not the little you usually get. So good! Service was perfect! Highly recommend!

We visited mid-week and it was delightful. The front desk (Kristen) was very accommodating, friendly, courteous, knowledgeable and efficient.

We ate in the dining room and had a lovely outdoor dining experience. The menu offered an interesting range of items. I am sure that anyone would find something that they would enjoy. I also liked the breakfast menu.

All of the staff that we encountered were excellent. I would unreservedly recommned Baron's Cove.

We arrived early, before check in time.yet we needed to quick change for a function we were to attend.we were given a key and directed to walk to spa area to make our changes. Disappointed on the late check in policy, but loved the place.
