Our experience was so much fun. I believe our instructor name is Scot. He was super nice and gave great instructions on the steps. He gave attention to everyone equally which made it super fun. I will definitely be going back. The place is super nice and chill also. I know everyone in our class had a great time. I definitely recommend.

Took the intro class and it was great! The instructor was super knowledgeable and helpful each step of the way. Would recommend Barro if you are interested in trying out pottery!

Steven was awesome. Helpful and attentive and fun. My one suggestion for the studio is offer drinks (alcoholic/nonalcoholic) to add to the ambience of a Friday night outing. Studio was small and quaint. Class was small which was nice when learning for the first time. Excited to see how my pieces turned out!

The pottery experience was lovely, they send a text message when entering to access the location and studio. The instructor was friendly however the process of picking up my order has been extremely disorganized. They inform you to schedule online pick up in 4-6 weeks. Ernesto was extremely helpful and Steven was a great instructor. I am excited to see my work once the glaze is complete. Thank you again for the accommodation.

I had SUCH a wonderful time here. Ernesto was able to accommodate my time within the same day and I learned so much for him. You can tell he’s very passionate about his work by the way he taught the class. I had so much fun create imperfect pottery and this is the perfect activity for a night out in the city. I can’t wait to go back! Also, the studio itself is so beautiful. The plants, the art, the large windows! Thank you so much Ernesto.

Wonderful class at Barro! Our instructor was detailed and supportive, even when our pieces went a bit wayward. It felt like a great deal that we got to fire 3 pieces from the session, and a fun time overall. Would definitely recommend!

This is a good experience to do with a friend or date. I went with a friend, and we had about 45 mins to throw clay and make pieces. Unfortunately, my friend's clay broke, and the instructor was so nice to help her with a 2nd piece. Can't wait to pick up my creation in 4 weeks.

Barro is the best studio in Brooklyn for beginner pottery lessons. My girlfriend (a more advanced ceramicist) loves her membership as well. Great space and teachers!

Amazing classes! As a beginner, the instructors offered plenty of one-on-one guidance, and I left with really beautiful pieces!

My friends and I took this class about 2 winters ago and it was so much fun! The instructor was super attentive and supportive. We were able to walk away making more than one piece. I highly recommend this pottery class as a solid date night or just something new different on a weeknight.

Fantastic studio with amazing teachers!
My girlfriend and I took a night class and were blown away by the amount of fun we had. The class was very informative and laid back. Our instructor Ernesto was easy going and very knowledgeable in the art of pottery. Highly recommend this studio!
