Ecuadorian Restaurant Barzola reviews
17The food! The food is always awesome! I've never been here where the food dissapoints. The service might sometimes, slow but they get busy I guess. If you want delicious Ecuadorian food, Definitely this is the place to go
Excellent attention from Richard and incredible food!
First experience trying Ecuadorian food and it was great!
thank you
Excellent service, food, place, location, attention from Miss Margarita Castro, excellent, she worried every moment that we were well at our table, I literally recommend the place. Thank you
Margarita Castro best service and attention, always willing to understand the client's needs
We are Mexican and it made it easy for us to find our favorite Ecuadorian dish
I have to give my opinion because I actually feel disappointed. The food as a first point is too expensive and in poor proportions the way they serve the small plates where the food goes out of it. We ordered a meat and it was tasteless and the value we paid was 33 dollars, too expensive for so little. The other dish was a guatita, unfortunately the taste was not the only thing that disappointed me but the side effects because it was more than evident that it was stored for a time that I do not know. But finally my last annoyance was when I ordered a lemon juice and this was a sachet. It doesn't seem fair to me that they don't go to the trouble of making even a piña colada with natural ingredients. And even more so the amount to pay was $107 and that if we paid by card they increased 3% more than the tip that was required of 18%
How crazy is this to charge $10 dollars for each beer. A total disappointment with BARZOLA I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT. With what I spent I would have gone to a better quality restaurant in Manhattan!
I order for delivery humitas and atacas, the humitas used to be delicious, I don't know what happened but this time they were horrendous, in fact I can't say that they were humitas.
If you’ve been coming here since the beginning you know this place has had many make overs the the stage in the back that once stood, to the circle table they once had by the front door. Though all these changes one thing has stayed the same the energy of the owners (this place is run by a family predominantly this location is the father’s and the one in Astoria is the sons). Which ever location you go to whether it’s the two in queens or the first location in bk the food is amazing, the staff is great to tend to your every need.
It’s so nice in here, the food is incredible it just makes you feel 100x better eating and especially dining in here
Excellent service, the guys are very attentive to customers and very friendly, I can say that I had a good experience in the place and thank Carlitos for having served us in the best way
They cheat you with some dishes like rice with crab I don't recommend it, it's salty and a lot of oil.
I came with my husband this morning to have breakfast but, only 1 person was working helping 7 tables (14 people)! I asked the waiter if she was expecting help and she said no.it is just her working in the morning bc the owner felt she could handle this amount of people. Not to mention she is also busy on the phone taking orders! Very unreasonable! Hope next time we are here they have at least 2 people working in the mornings
Thanks Carlos and Richard! We had a 100! They treated us the most! We come from afar to dine in Barzola! Thanks for a nice experience! I will be back to see you guys! Thanks
Always come to this Ecuadorian restaurant! All the way from Connecticut. Great food and service! Thanks to Richard and Carlos for making another good memorable time at Barzola’s!
Very good service and food but I think they should improve the cleanliness of their bathrooms.
Ambience improve the music is not Ecuadorian, the public bathrooms reduced to one only for men and women at the moment it is time to line up and wait for the turn to occupy the bathroom, there is no toilet paper, the service is expected on time, the food is in very exquisite
Barzola was an absolute delight! I stumbled upon it with some friends and what a hidden gem it turned out to be. The cozy atmosphere felt like being welcomed into someone's home. The aroma of traditional Ecuadorian dishes wafting through the air was mouthwatering. And the flavors? They transported me straight to another world – the perfect blend of spices and ingredients that tasted like a piece of Ecuador on my plate. The staff was so warm and attentive, making us feel like part of their family. If you're in the mood for a unique and authentic culinary experience, Barzola is where you want to be.
