I always thought kickboxing would be a good workout but I didn’t realize how much I would enjoy it until I started this class. The instructor is amazing, very encouraging and mixes things up and keeps you wanting to come back for a good workout. If you are looking for an exciting workout experience, please try them out. You will not be disappointed.

Always greeted with a warm smile! The kickboxing workouts are intense - but modified to meet the needs of every individual. There's definitely a feeling of kindness, encouragement, and community at Baxter Karate Dojo!

Sensei Baxter Baxter Dojo is great! He incorporates a great infusion of current and former students who teach the children along with him. I feel students benefit great from that. If you want your children to experience something new in a welcomed environment I recommend this Dojo.

Shihan Baxter and his team of karate instructors are very knowledgeable and attentive to all the students, young and old. Our 7-year-old son has been learning the art of karate for almost 3 years now. We have seen tremendous progress in his abilities, and with each level of belt he achieves, his confidence increases as well. Baxter Dojo teaches discipline and strength. Our son loves attending his classes and looks forward to participating in competitions, where he has already started winning medals for his abilities in kata and sparring, all due to the instruction he receives from such great teachers at the dojo.

Sensai Baxter, Dojo are the Best. My son who is 7 years old now and has started at the age of 4, loves coming each week. The school is able to provide time, patience, skills to thrive in life and allow him to be the person little person he can be. All staff aka family are pleasant and helpful. Prices are fair and the relationships you create over time is what matters for the well being of the participants. This school has changed my son life and can change your too. So much more but just sign up!

It all started with me searching for a new sport for my boys to try. So, I bought a 6 weeks trial package (super affordable and worth every penny!) at Baxter Karate Dojo.

After a few sessions I was extremely pleased with what I saw; Shihan Baxter is an amazing person with great patience, has incredibly positive energy and most importantly makes you and your family feel welcomed. My boys fit right in. He made them feel comfortable at their level and part of the class.its has been over a year now and Im satisfied with his` and the staff`s service.

I really appreciate how Shihan focuses on teaching his students proper technique and positioning. He encourage his students to practice and work hard. My boys have learned so much from him. He has quickly become a role model for them.

That being said, I highly recommend Baxter Karate Dojo to anyone thinking about joining.

Fantastic school. No pressure membership. A great family environment. The instructors, along with the Senior Blackbelts are very patient with beginners. A fantastic teaching method in instilling discipline and structure, My children have trained at this dojo, and now my grandchildren will attend in the near future. That sums it all.

Literally our entire family has fallen in love with this establishment! The adult Karate and Kickboxing classes are absolutely addicting, and our 6 year old's karate class is just the best. The staff at Baxter Karate Dojo is like family to an unknown observer, but once you join the dojo, it does not take long for you to become a part of this hardworking and inclusive family. The staff does a great job with people of all ages and all abilities, so if you worry about your level of fitness, or your kid's inability to focus- DON'T. You will find a place here, because the Dojo staff instill the belief of success in every individual's abilities. We are so blessed to have found Baxter Karate Dojo.

Shihan Baxter is the best! Great experience for my family. What I love most is the family atmosphere and positive attitude. It has helped both physically and mentally and has reinforced self discipline while keeping us in shape. I highly recommend Baxter Karate Dojo! Also very affordable!

I used to go here in the youth classes but i left as a blue belt.they have good instructors and the shihan (head instructor) is funny and has a good personality.the students are kinda extra but you cant control that.they did teach me well though and i wanted to leave cause i wanted to do other things but i hope to return as an adult.

My son just turned 5 and he wanted to learn karate. Bought him here and he was trying to keep up with the other kids and do what was being asked. The coaches did not do a good job at all and were visibly impatient with him and were whispering to each other about him. The parents watch the kids practice and they were laughing at my child and other beginner children as well. The only ones that were kind were the teenage instructors and the lady at the front desk. I thought he would be taught here not made fun of. I will never, ever bring him or any other child back here. 0 stars for the experience.
