This is the worst facility encountered. The staff is disgustingly rude to minorities and people of color. The front desk staff Jackie had my mother waiting an hour before submitting her paperwork. They also answer your call and randomly hang it up despite waiting a long time to reach them. Rude disgusting and unprofessional. 0 stars if possible

If there is zero stars I could give them, I used to be patient there but my last experience was not good. I suppose to do mri on the pelvis with and without contrast. The technician who did the mri for me I told her am scared and have phobia from injection she tried to give me the dye injection and then because I got pain from her hands she said I ll not do it and she wrote note that patient refuse and when I call the manager and complains about that she said am done without even explain or take my permission that I refused while am not. They have aggressive attitude.

Shouldn't list hours on a Sunday at this location if your closed. Also, website doesn't allow appointment scheduling, won't accept the Providers info.

They are the worst when it comes to someone in the office answering your incoming calls. You have to wait on the phone for more than 30 to 45 minutes in order to get a response. They aren’t cognizant when verifying the insurance presented during your visit. They say authorization was obtained or given when it’s not even required (Cigna). They quote % off your card but don’t call the insurance to verify if it applies to the patient’s coverage. Beware, if you’re signing waivers/liability forms from this location (7601 4th, Brooklyn, NY). They need to be trained beyond just acting as a receptionist.

Respectfully,

I had a thyroid scan and a breast ultrasound on the 13th ave 71st center. I went to endocrinologist- the films were unlcear and blurry he said. The best though was a letter I got from them saying I needed a "breast biopsy". When I sent my films to to MSKCC for a 2nd opinion per my primary care DRs advice- - they said they cant tell if I need a biopsy because the films were too blurry and unclear to determine if a Biopsy is necessary" they suggested retaking the ultrasound- someplace else. If you cant get clear scans then your diagnosis cant be accurate. Turns out I did not need a biopsy.

Go to a different location. Staff was rude also changed my appointment without consent OR TELLING ME. When I arrived they told me my appointment was a half an hour later than it was, and gaslighted me that I was mistaken. When I proved through my voicemail confirmation left by their office, they then admitted it was changed, which was clearly written in the system. Then gaslighted me further, by telling me my original appointment was still 15 minutes later than my original appointment. Very unprofessional to have to have my appointment times changed with no knowledge, then lied to and blamed repeatedly for the wait. Will never return.

The management and staff of the location at 13 ave and 71st needs to be reprimanded because of incompetence. When you make an appointment for 1: 30pm and you are taken in at 3: 10pm without an acceptable explanation is inexcusable. The same situation occurred last year for the same procedure (sonogram) which only takes 10 minutes to perform. The reason given was that suddenly biopsies needed tp be performed immediately. Meanwhile, every women who came in after me was taken before me. Obviously, the technicians were performing different tests (Mamograms?) and my simple sonogram did not fit into their schedule. Lessoned learned being burnt twice and I never will return again.

My mother got her tests done here and her doctors never called so she assumed everything was fine… well we just found out her doctors never got the results (3 weeks later) because THEY SENT THEM TO THE WRONG DOCTOR, someone we have never even heard of. Horrible!

A FEW staff members remind me of ELEMENTARY SCHOOL CHILDREN. Rude, and will speak about you in front of all clients when they think they are whispering and can’t be heard.

I have to say, reading the other reviews. I was so scared coming in to this place. I came from Queens because my doctor recommended this facility. My appt was on 14th avenue originally and those I can tell are not very helpful over the phone so I am glad my appt was changed to 13th avenue. I've been in lot of pain so didn't want to wait to much (Spine MRI) place is neat clean. Evethough there was a lot of people waiting appts were moving fast. I was greeted by Jamie (i hope I'm spelling it right) what a nice lady, super active, helpful, courteous and respectful. I waited no more than 20 mins and they called me in. The technician inside (Lana) very nice, patient and understanding. Other people were very nice by smiling or greeting. Im glad it went well.when you are going thru pain you are feeling down/depressed. I am so grateful with people that at least CARE.and we should all care. Thanks

If I could give this place a ZERO star I would. They always claim their machines are "broke" and don't even notify the patient until you are sitting there for hours only for them to tell you either the technician left for the day or their machines are down. Same story every time. Maybe get the machines fixed so there are less inconveniences for the patients? Also, the MRI tech lady is extremely rude, why work in the medical field if you're not going to treat the patients with respect and kindness? She definitely has some issues she needs to work on and possibly look into a different profession. Plus, they overbook too many patients at once.

I went to the location on 13th Avenue and 71st Street. I waited close to 1 & 1/2 hours before my young daughter could be seen. Only to be told that she was supposed to have drank a lot of water before her test. When I was making the appointment, staff specifically informed me to not feed her anything at least 12 hours before her test, without mentioning that she had to drink lots of water. Front desk staff were so rude and nasty! The technician was nice and told us to come back in an hour after she had drank a lot of water. Technician told us to inform the front desk when we return, and ask them to text her so my young daughter can be seen immediately. I did exactly that and they never contacted her and presented more attitude towards me. My daughter started to cry because she had to pee after waiting for another 40 minutes. After she used the bathroom I had to beg her to drink more water. There was absolutely no compassion with the front desk staff and I felt that they neglected my child's needs. When I finally saw the technician again she couldn't believe the front staff never called her and she felt so bad when seeing my daughter's puffy eyes from crying.
They should revamp that front desk staff ASAP.
Never again will I step foot in there.

The “white lady” technician who makes the MRI is such a rude person. Idk if she has some issues, but if you are going to works with clients-people, you should be more people-person. Btw, my MRI was today 9/8/2021.

Worst place to go, at least 30-60 mins wait on the phone to get a REAL person to schedule an appointment

Don’t even bother. First impression is always important, and it isn’t that good. This place BRMI was referred by my pcp. I called three times on a Friday morning in July. Every time I had to go through that 15 minutes automated system. Gave up. So, I went to my doctor again on August 3rd to have them set up an appointment for me. A lady from BRMI called this morning. After asking for my name, the line got cut off for no reason. I called them back immediately, all I am going through is that 15 minutes automated system again. They say they are such an organization but there are no operators to answer your calls. Don’t call during work or your boss would look at you like there is no tomorrow.

I never write reviews, but I wasted so many hours at this location I had to warn you. This location is extremely unorganized. Horrible wait time and no updates as to when you’ll be seen or why you’re waiting so long. I waited for 2 hours and then they sent me to another location because they were running behind. Then I had an issue where I was waiting for 1.5 hours where I was never checked in because someone was in my chart and they didn’t tell me, I had to ask what was going on. I ended up waiting 2.5 hours before being called in. This was an extremely stressful test for me that I needed repeated daily and all of the scheduling issues and wait time made it so much worse. Since I waited so long my husband had to leave and I asked for a cab home and they told me no. I have never waited less than an hour to be seen in my many times here. Other locations on 5th Avenue and 4th Avenue were so much more organized and better.
