BBQ Spot reviews
16Food was AMAZING when they first opened…now they DO NOT have trini workers anymore.food can be better.
Order jerk chicken with fries. It's halal but I quickly forgot it was halal when I tasted the jerk chicken.it was surprisingly good like something u would get at a jamaican restaurant! Service was good too. Only thing I didn't like was there parking in that area is absolutely terrible. You have to park by the hydrant or at a no standing sign constantly looking out the window so no one would give a ticket lol.
This is the closest thing to Trinidadian BBQ! It was delicious, especially the BBQ Lamb! Customer service was excellent as well. I came with my mom
and aunt, and they also loved it. I’m definitely returning!
Chicken is good. Both BBQ and jerk. Would be nice of they asked if u want sauce on or on the side of the food
I found this place from an Instagram post. I traveled from Queens to try this place and was disappointed to say the least. The staff needs to get a refresher on food safety, the same glove cant touch the register, pack food then serve food. Since there is an open concept and ppl can see there food being prepared it should be kept clean. The rice in the warmer was hard and crusty. The mac and cheese resembled nothing that a Trini would make. So fries was it for me. The bbq chicken I order sat on the cutting border for sometime, so it was cold. There was a long line and the grill person was reheating one piece of meat at a time. I didnt get the sauces i requested on both orders and I also requested light sauce not a soupy mess. The only reason I gave 2 stars one for each Trini flag in your store.
This restaurant was replaced by Habibi Halal Gyro which had expertise in Pakistani traditional food along with fast food items. I wanted to try Chicken over rice but was unable to find it within the menu of this restaurant. The food was ready made which is not a good strategy at all as it looses the freshness in food. I was left with only one choice which was Fried Rice with Jerk Chicken. I would like to talk about the taste which was way below standards. The price tag is so high, taste and food portion is not justified. This was my first time and after this experience, I will never try it again. Based on the taste, price and experience, I will not recommend this to anybody as it will be waste of your time and money. I wish there was an option to give -1 star as this restaurant deserve it.
Cashier serves you with a smile and is very welcoming. This is now the best Halal Caribbean Style spot in Brooklyn
Really good and tasty food.i really like it! I never eat food like this. Amazing guys, good job and good luck!
First off, customer service was A1. I wish I caught the guy's name but he had the best recommendation of BBQ sauce and white garlic sauce on the chicken and fries.it's amazing! We were able to try a sample of the jerk Mac and it was so good!
Typing this review within minutes of trying this food. As Keith Lee would say, 10/10! Super juicy chicken and amazing BBQ sauce that hits the spot as advertised. The jerk Mac is also now a favorite of mine.
Chicken was raw, and the Mac and cheese wasn’t good at all the jerk seasoning isn’t good at all, was highly disappointed.
Super tender chicken. Love the BBQ sauce. Great price and very generous amount. Nice and clean place. Definitely come back soon!
My friend told me about this newly opened spot for my lunch break. Best food in town! My new go to. I had the bbq lamb and fries. It is amazing and the place is very clean! Next time I have to try the chicken and fries!
This is the best BBQ Spot in the area! I love the BBQ Lamb Platter - also the loaded Fries! Definitely my new go to spot in the neighborhood!
Honestly best new spot to get food from great atmosphere, and friendly customer care. 100% recommend to stop in and get food.
