American Restaurant Bea reviews
17Initially I had a 5/5 experience here because the food was fabulous I with huge servings, piping hot and great wait staff. Although I recently came here a 2nd time and everything was sub par. Small portions, room temp food, staff was nice but very slow. At least the coffee was hot! I hope this was just a one time thing because I truly loved this place the first time I went. I recommend the bacon, French toast, eggs Benedict, kale Caesar.
I’ve brought several of my friends here on different occasions. Great experiences. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. The food is so good!
Really nice restaurant and bar. Great decor, music, and vibe. Servers were very accommodating to allergies. The sea bass was absolutely delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and highly recommend!
The food was really good, the drinks were great, the ambience was fun and quirky but classy, and our server was great! We had the scallops, green pasta, gnocchi, the burger, and a cheese board. Everyone was really happy with the food. It took a while for us to get the food but our server was very charming and it was great not to rush catching up with friends anyway.
Solid spot for good cocktails in Hell’s Kitchen. It’s my go to reco on where to go in that hood after work. Love the vibe too with the movies projected on the brick walls. Food is pretty good too if you get hungry.
Grit in the salad. The rest was passable but certainly not worth the price. I did like the fact they were playing Kids In The Hall.
Chill atmosphere. Shared a bottle of wine with my friend. The lady bartender was friendly and prompt. (Short red hair with bangs) i would like to go back and try their food.
Went for brunch. Liked the hibiscus cocktail. For food, favorites were the ricotta, salmon, asparagus, scrambled eggs, and bacon.
I would not recommend the baby scallops entree, just missed the mark, was too sweet, no truffle flavor.
The steak my dinner companion had was on the dish to get.
Great ambiance! Low lighting creates a romantic vibe, and old movies are projected on most of the walls. Food was really good- lots of creative dishes that paired really well. A little on the pricey side, but they also serve food until 1am.
We were on holiday in NYC, and found this restaurant through Yelp. Decided to go here on our last night as it has great reviews, and it didn't disappoint! Great selection of food, cocktails were amazing and very friendly service! Also, in a nice location as it's a walking distance to Times Square! Would definitely recommend!
This place is amazing. So much food and so many drink choices when you do the bottomless brunch! The Staff was very attentive. Literally everything on the menu was Delish.but my fave was definitely the French Toast.
Salad had grit in it. Other entrees were mediocre at best. Needed more seasoning. Needs a bit of work.
If you do not know the restaurant, it is hard to find. It is an absolute secret tip.we will come back. Greetings from Switzerland.
Decent watering hole for the neighborhood. I thought it closed kinda early for a Friday night, but at least they weren't pushy about it.
Great bar with a good selection of beers on tap. I recommend the Brooklyn ale. The food was good I had the roasted beet salad with walnuts.hmmmm. After three drinks and the salad my belly was full and my brain fortified enough to make the trek back uptown away from tourist hell. The service was pleasant and professional and the walls were filled with vintage [sic] TV shows (no sound) which took me back to my youth and reminded me that I'm f***ing OLD.
We were looking for a creative place and a change from the usual grind and Bea completely fit the bill. The executive chef dies an excellent job of creating flavor and making sure each dish is multidimensional. The restaurant itself is pretty attractive as well, cleanly laid out and showing old black and white movies on the walls. All of this and you don't break the bank eating here either.
We will definitely be back.
