Came 2 years ago and had so much fun we had to do if again! Bought 6 cases of their ciders! Love the hospitality and kindness of the workers. We love Beak and Skiff!

Great place to go to when in the area, however I traveled from NYC (4 hours away) arrived at 6pm and found out this place was closed. We even called in advanced and was informed this place will be open until 8pm.

This place was idyllic. Absolutely beautiful. No more peaceful or friendly a place have I ever been. The prices are reasonable for handmade goods and noms. The cider so crisp and sweet but not overly artificially over sweetened. The views are amaizing. The landscaping is added to my back yard dream list. I would spend a day here with kids and/or a sweetheart. Such a lovely spot. Highly recommend.

During apple season, prepare for a packed parking lot, but it's so worth it! Great assortment of ciders (alcoholic and non), spirits, baked goods, cheeses, etc.as well as their proprietary line of CBD products). There's a great play section for kids, and a very thoughtfully designed pony ride (no ponies running in circles!) Whole family had a great time!

They are voted to be the 3rd best apple picking place in US in 2022. That speaks volume. There is endless things to do. You may want to plan an afternoon to enjoy here.

Nice place, apple picking was fun, a little expensive.

My only gripe would be portion sizes, I ordered chili fries, the chili was bland, and the portion was way too big, I wish they would do a half portion for half the price.

The food from the Cafe was definitely lackluster, but cider donuts were good, apple picking was fun, everyone was very nice.

I don't drink but the winery place looked nice and had a lot of variety.

It was super crowded when we came, and hard to find seating, but it was a sunny day and 70 degrees in October so take that as you will. But if you have social anxiety, maybe not the place to visit.

Overall the kids and I had a fairly pleasant experience.

Over crowded, like everywhere these days seems short staffed. Lines are horrendous. On beautiful days they should add outdoor options to make food lines faster, also MORESEATING

Very beautiful orchard with a huge variety of products. Cafe for food, gift shop, and of course a large variety of apples. Would highly recommend if you have the time to go and relax!

The orchard in the past has been one of my favorites, but the prices are ridiculous. I will say they do have the best selection but other competitors have much better prices and clearly mark how much they are per pound.so your not surprised with a 70 dollar bill for 2 bags of apples!? ! Navarro orchard the same amount was much less and on beak and skiffs receipt they didn’t even show price per lbs or lbs of apples picked.

This is 1911 Hard Cidera orchard.

You can go apple picking.

They have concerts of some big artists.

They have a gift shop, bakery.

They have a restaurant and tasting room.

They sell 1911 hard ciders, spirits and some wines.

They sell various types of non alcoholic cider as well.

You don't have to pay to get usually. Not sure how the concerts work.

This place is a great place for an apple picking afternoon of fun! People were friendly and informative. There was more than one variety of apples to pick. There's a quaint store or 2 there. Plus the 1911 store.

Great Family fun or get together with Friends for an afternoon of outdoor fun. Horse rides, climb the haystack, pick apples, and enjoy yummy treats.

Update: We returned to beak and skiff for 2022 and the changes are night and day. I ordered a mushroom Swiss burger and it was great, the fries are $8 per order and it’s worth it. It’s a huge order of delicious fries, we got both the poutine and the chili fries and were very happy.

This place sets a really good, family friendly vibe and feels like a little town. I would absolutely recommend coming here for the experience. If you want better apple picking in volume then I’d head to Behlings in Mexico, Ny.

Beak and Skiff at the time of this review brings the pickers to a specific section of the orchard to pick 2 pre determined types of apples where as behlings allows you to pick whichever kind of apple you want.

2020 Review
Food was low end mediocre. There was a lot of hype. We received dry chicken nuggets, a seemingly microwaved burger, pulled pork soaked in corn water, and a dry and cold pork sliced sandwich with a chunk of apple on it. Bland and not very good.

This is a great place but oh my gosh is it crowded! It was like Disney with lines for everything and packed with people. The apple picking was surprisingly the least crowded thing to do there. They have a huge orchard but we're only letting people pick Empire, though we passed other varieties that looked ready. Empire is my favorite so I was fine with it, but usually you want variety of you're going to a big place like this. I would like to come back when it's less crowded.

Great place for Apple picking, lots of kids activities including slides, face painting, little petting zoo, spider web crawl space and tons of delicious food. Grab some cider donuts, apple cider and some 1911 hard cider, you won't regret it.

Awesome place to walk around and enjoy some time with the whole family. Love their ciders and alcohol. It can get pretty busy, but is worth a trip.

We came excited. Left within 10 minutes. Wasting tax payer dollars with the sheriffs department controlling traffic. Prolly about 2000 tourists on site. Forced to ride a wagon to pick apples. Cannot walk in which is absolute non sense. Huge lines for everything. Find a small orchard and avoid this unless you like the insane state fair like manic.

Nice little place. The ciders are pretty darn good, the wine I would say ranges semi sweet to sweet. The liquor is not bad either. Did not try any of the baked goods, I am spoiled with our orchards. We have fresh fried cider donuts warm right out of the fryer. Can't beet the warm fresh donuts.
