Seems they are overwhelmed, service was on the slow side. Food was good, cocktails were better.

My favorite restaurant in NYC! I'm from Houston, and anytime I visit I have to eat here. I love the tapas style plates that allow me to try a bunch of different items when I am feeling indecisive. Service is friendly and I haven't tried one item I don't like. Definitely recommend!

I loved this place and will definitely be coming back. The staff were nice, the bathroom is beautiful and clean. The food was enjoyable and I honestly didn’t have any complaints.

Celebrated my friend's birthday there. Couldn't tell from the outside but the atmosphere was elegant. The food was delicious.

Awesome atmosphere. Decor is amazing. The place is lively. The food was really good. Service was good. I would definitely say make reservations early because it gets full in there.

Food decent but so dam loud. Even the young people I was with were deafened by how loud that place is. But fun bar scene ok and service was good all around.

I've only been for the champagne brunch which is fantastic. The food is delicious and it's like being out at a night club on a Sunday afternoon.

Upscale place with lots of ambience. Drinks expensive but def worth it. Pawn shop type shop leads to a back door speak easy. Seems that anyone can get in. Once inside place was jammed. Everyone dressed up and looking fine!

Waited for an hour for the table. Reached on time and they made us wait like dogs. No bellinis either. Food is average. Don’t go. But cocktails r good

Who doesn't love a worst-kept-secret kind of place? The food is good, Mexican staples like chilaquiles and miniature huevos rancheros are a go. Burger is a hit. Service is decent. This pseudo-chic environment is fun in an ironic way (Free champagne in the bathrooms, prom style photos on the windy steps) It's a cool place to feel fancy and in-the-know especially for out of town friends that want to dress up but have no place to go. Not a fun place for the grumpy minimalist. Make reservations.

Craziest brunch/discoteque birthday ive ever been too. Set menus of about 8-10 courses and crazy glowsticks and accessories.

Meh, took forever to get my steak, and the manager was clearly trying to rush us out. But the food was good.

Usually pretty busy, I highly recommend a reservation. A swanky speak easy style restaurant with incredible craft cocktails and really delicious food.
Romantic dinners are great here, as well as a nice evening out with friends or impressing someone from out of town.
Come hungry and order courses because it's all so good. Be prepared to spend some money, it's worth it but really isn't too crazy expensive. Probably end up spending $100-$150 per person if you're doing drinks, apps, entrees and dessert.

LOVED my experience here! We went to the lower east side a Sunday night, and got some delicious cocktails. The women's bathroom downstairs serves Prosecco in nice flute glasses. We checked out the upstairs, but decided to stay by the bar on the main floor. Hannah (the bartender) was very nice, when a group of guys bought us drinks and she made sure everything was OK. I appreciated that small gesture. The venue itself is stunning inside, and concealed behind a pawn shop. I liked the experience this bar offers and will be back again when in New York. I haven't ventured deeper than the bar, but a reservation is very likely to be required. Don't miss out on seeing this beautiful bar.

Last evening I dined for the very first time for my friends birthday dinner. The Decour was phenomenal as well as breath taking to say the least. The front of the house hostesses were polite and warm and welcoming. As it was our turn to dine; we were sat at the table and given the menus, the waiter took the orders and gave his best suggestions. I personally asked the most questions to see if he could connect with the menu and guide me to decide whether the chicken meatballs or the sweet potatoe ravioli was the best choice. I ultimately chose the ravioli through suggestion because I was told that the Meatballs came in a serving of 3. As the food arrives to the table, everyone is embraced with their plates, my plate arrives and I notice only 6 on the plate. I know at places of this callibore that portions aren’t suppose to be large, but my expectation for what the price was didn’t match. A woman who wasn’t our server yesterday evening took the plate as per my request and left the table. After the plate was taken, I felt a disconnect coming from our assigned waiter for the evening. He didn’t return to check in with the table to see if anyone enjoyed their meals nor did he entertain. He later returned to get the desert menu, we indulged and moments later we waited for the bill. That time grew longer as we waited to be served and given the bill, 45 mins later we requested the bill by 3 different associates and was finally rung up, without or waiter ever being present or notifying u that maybe his shift was ending. Those were the assumptions that we’ve created due to the time we’ve waited for the bill. I honestly would recommend this place for people to dine maybe in a couple, not as a group (as we went of 6). The music was very entertaining and up beat, the ambience was truly sunning. To conclude I would say that the low review comes from lack of communication from the server, I am one to be honest with the service that I receive so I hope this helps.
