Beaver Island State Park reviews
25The beach and water itself isn't the greatest but nonetheless it is decent enough. I usually come here to walk the dog and some time go for a run.the golf course is fine, you can rent golf carts
We photographed a wedding there over the weekend the place is just beautiful the staff could not be more accommodating
Nice course, forgiving for those who don't quite hit it on tightrope! Greens were in good shape, somewhat on the quick side, for me.some of the fairways could use a little TLC, mini potholes could b filled in and maybe some more trees to define some of the fairways a little better. Overall a good place.
It's a very peaceful environment. Great for picnics, some volleyball courts and fun little playground. THE BEACH WAS AMAZING! Certainly not the best one I've been to but has everything you'd be looking for. I had a good time there and am looking forward to going back.
Definitely worth visiting. The park have a small beach, a new kids playground and tons of place for barbecue.
Beach could use more grooming. Golf course is cheap but you get what you pay for. Bike paths are rough. Children's play areas are generally well maintained.
Lots of Park to take a walk in, nice water to swim in, they have a nice little restaurant not expensive or shall I say a food stand. You can have a large get together with your family there, it is neat and clean.
Beaver Island is a great park! Awesome disc golf course, plenty of picnic areas and a nice beach on the Niagara River. Also has an 18 hole golf course and concession stand.
The waterfront trails and the bird watching spots all deserve a look approach slowly and quietly for close ups of herons
Went to wedding at the casino, beautiful view, not good access to outside. Sidewalks had lots of dirt and debris.
Underuntiltized! Clean beach, clean picnic areas, snack stand re-opened with good selection and fair prices, showers, restrooms, playgrounds, beautiful surroundings!
Seven bucks per car to get in, then get to enjoy a beautiful beach all day? You can't beat it! Next sunny day, just go!
Always a lovely beach to visit! Nice patrons spread all around the grounds. Kids are handled and respectful of others. Swimming area seemed kind of small. Possibly expanded for heavy populations.
Not my favorite state park I've been to, but always enjoyable. There are other outdoor places I can go without spending the $7 to get in. A good choice if conveniently located for you.
Great park. I went to the beach and it was a great little spot. The water is pretty shallow and calm so it’s pretty fun to chill in. The lifeguards do a good job as well. Plenty of stuff to do. The scenery is really great too! The swimming area is pretty small, though which does limit the fun a little bit. Still a great place though.
The beach itself is always clean but my issue is with the lifeguards. How dare you tell my kids they are not allowed to have saftey floaties on.they can swim but it is a little protection just in case.but to tell me my 5 and 6 year olds cant have anything but a full vest is rediculous.youd rather my kid drown than have swimmies.im so freaking livid rn!
Only about 3' depth of swimming by about 80yds. Definitely could expand in both areas. It get pretty mucky around 2.5' deep. Wear water shoes.
Great beach for buffalo. Picnic area has a ton a trees, so it is super cool.lots of tables. It is a carry in carry out park. I wish ppl would read a do. I have know idea why ppl can't keep a bathrm clean.
It's a really nice place.there's a beach, park, bbq, and a store that sells you edible stuff.but just remember.don't give the seagulls food.trust me.they go crazy.but other than that. I recommend you go on a hot summer day.
