Horrible experience, steer clear of this place. Four of us came to check out the antiques, and each of us (we are three women, one man, ages 35-68) was followed throughout the store by various older workers who pretended to look at things and watch us. When we moved, they moved. They did this to others, and kept asking if they could help us. At one point we overhead complain to another about people not just "buying and leaving. " They did the same to two other women who came in. What the heck are you in business for? To chase people away? Possible prejudices at play I'd rather not state here. Good luck.

Kristine and Ann were amazing! Great people to be around and helped so much. The store also has amazing jewelry and antiques. Thanks so much!

I like it here, I think I always leave with something I love. The place has a big range of prices, there are very affordable items and pricey aspirational items as well. There are more antique items than vintage and I am none of a vintage person than antique, if that helps.

Stopped in whole visiting Rhinebeck for my partners birthday, very cool store, she very much enjoyed walking around. It's a large space with several rooms all filled with merchandise. Quality and price vary widely so if your looking for a serious piece, or just a basic momento, worth stopping in.

Being shadowed by staff at every step in a less than curtious way takes a star off - but I imagine theft is probably an annoying issue in such a large store.

Today I was excited to go to this store and I drove from my home to Rhinebeck to visit it. When I arrived at the store the door was open and I walked in. The lady sitting behind the counter told me to shut the door, without saying hello or exchanging any pleasantries. Confused I told her I didn't open the door. Then she repeated her command and also told me to put my soda on the table (it was a unopened bottle of pepsi). I left and closed the door behind me and went back home upset after looking forward to going to the store.

Advise to the store: put a spring on the door. Customers are not your servants and it is not the 1950s. You can not treat people like this.

Fantastic place to find all sorts of treasures! Furniture of all ages and styles, and a myriad of knickknacks to look through. I always find something exciting to take home.

RUDE STAFF AND TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

I've visited this market a number of times and admired their collection. My husband and I have spent hundred of dollars on glassware, vases and other unique objects. However, the staff is ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. After my last visit, I am never going back again.

The women who run the shop profile every customer. They follow you around the store and have an attitude if you have a slight interest in any object - oddly contradictory to the fact that (you would think) they want to support the market's sales.

The last time I visited I saw a scarf in Nancy's booth right before closing time. I left without buying it, but called them back the following day asking if they could ship it to me (covering the shipping cost of course) as I am not local. Nancy could have declined the sale but instead she said yes while giving me a nasty attitude, like I was inconveniencing her because I WANTED to buy her product.

Well, she should pay a little more attention to her negativity and making sure to properly hang up after a phone call.

After I gave my credit card information and thinking she hung up the phone, she went on for 10 minutes mocking me, saying how my husband was pressuring me to buy, how it was my fault and how I was making her pay more in taxes for the sale. She said I had been in the store "long enough" and should have bought it then.

Again, she's the one who agreed to sell it to me, she could have declined. When I called her back, telling her I heard everything she said, she had no remorse and again blamed me for not buying the scarf when I was at the store. Completely disrespectful and terrible customer service.

The women running this store have no social etiquette and should not be in a business involving client-facing transactions. Will not be returning and hope this saves future customers from a similar experience.

I was there this morning and I enjoyed every minute of it. The two women working behind the register were very friendly and helpful. I was surprised at how low the prices were considering the area. I found a beautiful 19th century ceramic pitcher for only 55.oo. My husband even enjoyed looking around and he's a plumber. Can't wait to go back and also visit their other stores. Thanks Rhinebeck you never let me down.

Definitely a place with great deals to be had if you look carefully! We are very happy with our purchase!

Was a little stunned by the fact that they definitely profiled my wife and I by following us booth to booth, despite being well-dressed and respectful just because we were under the age of 30 (27 &26).

Two of the three ladies I met were fairly snooty with us, Amy was nice and very knowledgeable and we will return if just to see her! I do advise stopping in!

This place is among one of my favorites in this party of New York. The owners were very friendly and welcomed us as we came through the door. The air conditioning was such a relief as we were here on one of the hottest days off the year. There is a very large selection to choose from, very well organized and tidy. Prices vary but it's different vendors so it's understandable.
