Jimmy came to do my annual contract check up on my furnace. He was very efficient, answered my questions and advised me on the health of my equipment. We diagnosed a problem together concerning the venting of my furnace. Great service from Belknap, Jimmy was even able to set up my next maintenance appointment for the Spring.

They changed me all together $569.85 for an igniter for my furnace, the part only costs $65, and the technician that came out they day before said they charge $151 an hour, so how does a $65 part and a 5 minute job cost almost $600? , they have been turned into the BBB and the Attorney Generals Office, I will never do business with them ever again, don’t ever do business with them

Another year, 2022, and another inspection. I attempted to post a separate comment but the system resisted. So, here goes.

This year I was again blessed with Belknap competence in the person of technician Howard. Again, Howard dismantled the various parts of the boiler and inspected each carefully. He also commented on the smooth functioning of the air duct mechanism. I concurred in noting the smoother circulation of heat on the second floor notwithstanding the existence of the single thermostat on the first floor.
It occurred to me as we were talking the one of the main benefits of Belknap inspection was providing technicians who were trustworthy as well as technically competent. In this uncertain world that is becoming a premium aspect of business service.
Again, I remember the assistance David Latta performed for my mother and me and pray that his soul rest in peace.
All in all, Howard gave me the secure assurance that I can depend on the boiler throughout this coming Buffalo winter.

The Belknap technician, Steve, explained all of the details and protections of the various parts of boiler inspection and the actions to take in case of a boiler failure. I have found the various technicians in the past to be very reliable and efficient and knowledgeable in the science of boiler repair and maintenance. Steve is the latest in this pattern of competence and reliability.
I also take this opportunity to mention the much appreciated part Dave Latta played in the installation of this Dunkirk boiler (six years ago) which has performed admirably. May his soul rest in peace.

Annual maintenance for home generator service was done efficiently and professionally. I have peace of mind now for the upcoming winter season.

Great service, extreme overcharge for parts. Friendly service person, I got charged 450 dollars for a part that costed online less than 100. I do not mind paying extra but not that much. I voiced my displeasure via an email and got a call from the manager, he attempted to explain the price included labor when the invoice clearly states that as a separate charge. There is a line item for a part and it stated 450.

Update: After a call from the company, they elaborated on the charges and apologized for the confusion. I explained if they broke out the charges explaining what is being paid for, people like me will not be as upset. He appreciated the criticism.

Corey changed the battery on the generator. He was very conscientious, informed me of the problem and what he was doing. He was professional and personable
