Finally got a chance to check out this spot; it did not dissapoint! I got the five-spice fried chicken sandwich, and I added a fried egg on top. It was delicious. I also ordered some pastries to go. I can't wait to dig in.

I only make reviews when the experience inspires me to. This is one of those moments. This is a wonderful, cozy, small place to be at with yourself or with a partner. My wife and I had brunch here on a Sunday afternoon and it was full of people, and yet, it was easy to dine in.

First of all the pastries were perfection. I tried a rosemary and sweet potato pastry that was light, flaky and with a delicious delicate flavor. I also tried the pineapple bun with a light coconut cream filling and a crunchy sweet crust that was out of this world (great combination with their coffee) and lastly, I tried the home fries, and honestly, everything was perfect about them, specially with the green hot sauce and the sourdough bread.

Lastly, I had the pleasure to meet Ignacio that helped us at the register, and not only was helpful, but went the extra mile explaining each pastry and making recommendations. It was quite a wonderful experience all the way around.

One of my favorite local bakeries in the neighborhood! Relaxed vibe, friendly staff and very high quality delicious baked goods and brunch eats. The quiche with side salad is great.

Love all of the Asian fusion options here. Had the black sesame latte, mooncake bun, and char siu breakfast sandwich. Great coffee too.

A neighborhood gem and a menu that highlights seasonal farm to table ingredients. The pastries are always delicious and the dishes lean towards savory. None ever disappoint. Besides their regular menu, they always have weekend specials.

You can tell that the items here are made with love. This place triumphs on the strength of its delicious coffee and excellent pastries, including black sesame buns and cream puffs. I have to say, while I think this place deserves five stars overall, the croissant was a disappointment. It's baked at too high a temperature, leading to it being far too dark, and with an oily rather than buttery texture. Other than that, excellent cafe.

This place is wonderful. The food is so good and we absolutely love their sourdough bread. It is always very crowded though.

Person taking orders was standoffish. She wore a green hat and nose piercing. Definitely did not seem like a morning person. The pastries were burnt and too buttered, as opposed to what you would expect from even french pastry imitations. The coffee was burnt and poorly made, tasted like maxwell house.

Overall, there is more success and better service to be had at a mexican food truck.

Ambience was decent. There are better places in Astoria.

The sourdough bread i was looking for and also the best croissant i found at the same time. Wanna go back and try their full breakfast menu sometime soon.

I once walked in 3 minutes before they open to read the menu and order quickly but a guy who was cooking in the back told me to leave because they were not open yet. He yelled at me, so I never came back

Really good breakfast food, nice coffee and super friendly staff. Why opening only on weekends though?

This family-run spot is the most idyllic and heartwarming in the neighbourhood, and so so delicious. The breakfast sandwich on the milk bun with onion jam was spectacular and the menu is very unique. I was just in town for the weekend but can’t wait to return to try everything else. The quality of ingredients, vibes, decor and service are all unmatched.

Everything about this family-owned spot is incredible! The croissants are to die for, the breakfast sandwich is so carefully crafted and the ingredients are really high quality - thick bacon, rich cheese, fresh bread. Get the onion jam on the breakfast sandwich, you won’t regret it! Astoria badly needed a great bakery with sourdough and good quality croissants. The sourdough loaf is the perfect size to buy and bring home for sandwiches. Bench Flour Bakers is my absolute favorite restaurant in the neighborhood. I’m so happy to see it crowded and successful!

The French toast is delish and filling. They also make slamming bacon, egg, & cheese sandwiches.

My breakfast sandwich was SO yummy. The onion jam was to die for! Service was friendly and quick, but no AC was a big bummer.

Heartwarming food and baked goods. Perfect for brunch or a box of pastries to bring to grandma’s. Whoa, don’t miss the ham and cheese savory croissant! The ham is spectacular. The pineapple bun is also special.

Local bakery, brunch, and coffee spot that feels like home. Warm and inviting atmosphere for a quick cup and a pastry or full brunch with a group. Lovely decorations and well curated menu make for an idyllic shop in an area that's lacking anything similar.
