Went here with friends and the curry sauce was the best I had in a long time! Also the service was great and our table appreciated them refilling our waters

The food and service were good, but they've sat as by the door which was open all along, so the whole stay was cold, the food got colder faster, the experience was uncomfortable and uncomforting. In conclusion this is not for me and most others in our group felt the same.

I looove the tofu fire here. The eel donburi and sake were both really nice too. Cash or Venmo only!

Some really good stuff (garlic beef) but mostly too salty with not enough toppings in rice and curry dishes.

Despite so many options for Japanese in EV, Benemon is truly a standout. My work brings me to Tokyo often and this place hits the spot when I'm craving the Tokyo eateries

Cozy place and had a relaxing time. Staff was diligent and friendly. Had a pork Katsu curry rice bowl with solid texture to the curry and fried pork cutlets. The individual pieces were still steaming and delicious even to the last piece! Would recommend and come again!

Amazing food. A little pricey but the quality was worth it. Had the Pork Belly as an appetizer and the Chicken Katsu Curry and would definitely recommend.

Our server was fantastic and very nice and recommended some delicious drinks for us as well.

Favorite restaurant in NYC! Took a while to discover it but have been going back all the time now. Really reasonable prices for incredible food - good variety of meat, seafood, and vegetarian options. And SO MANY sake varieties:)

I came before and wanted to eat weekend brunch here today but the restaurant is not open as their website states and there was no warning in advance. Disappointed. Taken at 1: 22pm on sunday 2/2

I love the food here! Great selection of curry and donburi. I love all the different kinds they offer. This places seems to specialize in sake but I don't drink so i'm not sure. A very lovely place, authentic Japanese, the staff is incredibly polite. Service is too notch.

Really really awesome Japanese food, specializing in Don and sake. Had an amazing Unagi Don dish, which was more unagi than I have ever had in one sitting. It was amazing. The sake flight was perfect, as was the bottle we shared at the table. Would absolutely come back!

Great food, they had a table in the back for 5 even though it's tiny and we had no reservations.

Nice Japanese restaurant, although a little bit dark at there (I used my light to help me taking picture). But the eel bowl is great! Although it’s overdone but it’s okay. I recommend!

Wonderful place! It was a good place to eat alone with attentive service and interesting decor. I wasn’t exactly sure what I was ordering though I could have tried asking more questions. Tempura and rice were delicious. No refills on tea. I hope to be back soon!

Great service and atmosphere. The vegetable curry is an impossible find even in New York, and is one the best I've ever had. Would definitely consider a go-to place for Japanese dishes.

Great food and service. Expect to pay at least 20 per person without booze 35 and up with alcohol. There are no reservations so you'll have to wait if it's busy. An hour and twenty on St Paty's.

It's tasty and simple - perfect for a date, a meal alone with a book, or a get together with a group of friends. Definitely recommend the rice bowls and trying their sake sampler - both are delicious!

Lovely bar, beautifully done, delicious nibbles, beware, it's easy to spend a fortune on these delectable plates.

This is the BEST restaurant! Japanese comfort food at its finest. Really nice ambience, really nice staff, and an amazing selection of sake.

I love this restaurant, the food is always delicious. I recommend coming here for a date or a intimate dinner with friends/family. The staff is very attentive and friendly. They also have a great playlist, so the music is always enjoyable.
