AARON WAS THE BEST! He went above and beyond to address our special requests. He was incredibly kind, patient and just amazing. Thank you Aaron! You are such a valuable asset to Benihana.

Let me start by saying, I’m not new to Benihana; I’ve been to this location specifically over 50x (not even joking) and Sasibelle, is the best server I’ve had in all my times of coming here. She is Amazing, Attentive, Has a Great Personality, Great Sense of Humor, Nice Smile and is all around cool to talk to. I really enjoyed my experience and recommend her + Benihana to every and anyone.

I personally don’t like the show (I’ve seen it soooooo many times). It’s nice when you’re with family and stuff but if you’re with your mans like I was, I 1000000000000% recommend sitting in what I like to call the “intimate side”. Which are some tables next to the bar. Very cute. Very intimate. Just a vibe.

I came here to celebrate my man and I’s Anniversary and Sasibelle came in clutch with a whole photoshoot for us and (me!) lmfao. She’s mad cool. I appreciated that.

Came back with high expectations and they were met! Also got lucky and was able to get my favorite chef, Chow. He did it again! Another great experience

I went to the restaurant for the first time and I’m amazed the service was amazing and incredible the food was great I’d like to thank chow for the amazing food he made I’ll be returning soon thank you!

Chow is the best chef! Our food was incredible and he takes great pride in his job. All of our food was seasoned to perfection and he made our dining experience incredible.

Crazily expensive, the food is one of the worst I’ve ever had in the past 10 years life in nyc, all dishes are salty as hell, the quality of food sucks, the chicken tastes like died over 1year, the service yea there is no service, the sever is busy who no no purpose, can’t believe it is the chain restaurants, sometimes if u succeed not about you deserve it, it is about you doing something early.never come back, the first time is also the last time

I would avoid this place at all costs. I used to frequent it in the late 1980’s and early 1990’s with authentic chefs from Japan, it was great food, service and fun. Now, the waiter looks like he was trained in a Dunkin’ Donuts and the chefs look dirty with the experience of a bodega short order grill cook. The former skilled Japanese chefs used to do a nice show with the salt/pepper shakers now these dirtbags bang knives off the table nearly chopping your head off. Terrible quality of food now the steak is a disgusting low quality tough and they don’t even give you sprouts anymore. The host is a moron that doesn’t even greet the guests or look up from his computer and acknowledge the guests. This place must have changed ownership/management at some point and the originals are long gone this place is the worst what a nosedive it took. Surprised they are still open. Avoid at all costs!

Last night I went to dinner with my family and I loved the place, the chef was excellent, I don't remember his name, the truth is that everything was divine and the service has nothing to say, I would go again, the waitress Ivón I give her a 10/10, keep it up.

Ivone was a delight! Our waitress was truly what made- the experience remarkable. Would certainly go back after this experience 10/10.

Debora was absolutely amazing we had a great dinner here Debora explained the entire menu for us and gave us great recommendation. The food was very good would highly recommend!

I loved Phurwa! She was such a nice server! She was so funny and has a good sense of humor!

I ordered 2 sushi platters for a Thanksgiving party and they delivered me not even 8 rolls of what was probably the smallest and worst sushi I have ever seen. I paid over $100 and the manager tried to tell me that I ordered 8 rolls and not the 2 platters that were clearly documented on the receipt. The manager was rude and not helpful at all. The presentation was nothing short of embarrassing.

The place is awesome. The food is great. The bartender and the hosts’s attitude are so rude and unprofessional. They should learn that in order to get good tips, they must make the customers comfortable. Not news to explain why

It was very nice experience for dinner and must try the center cut and lobsters, serve by Jessica for few times and feel so welcome and will bring children for their birthday!

The place was dirty and they didn't even clean our table before bringing out the birthday cake. Terrible.

I love this place to death. I have been coming here for 30 years. That said, if you order chicken, it will be overcooked 99 times out of 100. Caution is one thing, but letting that poor chicken breast sit there for 20 minutes is abuse.
Still 5 stars though, because I'll just drown it in ginger sauce.

Took my husband here for his birthday Friday night …. Place was vibing because most of the staff are very friendly.
Our waiter was fantastic …. However the chef “Mr Chow” …. Man what a dull cook. There were a few children at the table and not even for them this man had the couth to make the smallest of effort to put on a show.
As other person commented on a recent review, they need to hire new cools that can do the job, cook but also put up the dinning experience “unlike any other” according to their page and perform the ancient art of Teppanyaki!

Benihana is my children’s favorite place. The waitress Jessica has a very nice， Chef Tom’s fried food is very suitable for our taste. I will recommend it to friends.

The food here is amazing as always and the chef Miguel as amazing as always. Great show and food! The host service was amazing everyone is so friendly. 5/5 would recommend.
