Benny’s Brown Bag

Benny’s Brown Bag is a new sandwich shop that also offers craft beer in Peekskill, NY.

The menu offers a balanced selection of elevated classic sandwiches, catering to a variety of tastes. It includes southern and Thai fried chicken sandwiches, roast beef, turkey and ham subs, tuna and chicken salad, along with vegan options. The rotating specials encompass patty melts, grilled cheeses, summer salads, and homemade desserts.

Benny’s Brown Bag delivers deliciousness with fresh ingredients that are sourced daily, emphasizing local produce such as deli meats from Thumann’s Inc, bread from Ossining Bakery and Rockland Bakery, pickles from the Peekskill Farmers’ Market, and locally brewed craft beer and kombucha.

For Halloween, they changed their name to Bob's Burgers. All of the employees dressed up like the characters.

Large and very delicious sub sandwiches. Chili Crisp Turkey one of the best I’ve ever had. Lovely service from Patina and comfy aesthetic with nice beer selection. Would come again whenever back in town!

Staff is lovely! The food is a bit on the pricier side for sandwiches however well worth it. The place has an old school tv playing movies too so you get some entertainment while waiting. Worth the treat.

A tad pricey but then again, many things are increasing in price. The sandwiches are rather large so you get your money worth. I'm a big fan of their chicken cutlet style sandwiches.
No tables or chairs inside the establishment as of August 2023 (could change in the future). Seems like a for-the-community establishment and has a cozy vibe.

Really phenomenal sandwich. Had the bear mountain roast beef. Can't wait to go back and try the other offerings.

There French fries are awesome there delicious everything is always neat I would recommend this place.

Sandwiches cooked to order were delicious and large portions. Picked this place for takeout for lunch while in town for a wedding.

Stopped by here this past weekend and it was awesome. The roast beef one with horseradish was incredible (great bread), but the turkey with chili crisp was my favorite. The half I couldn’t finish even held up great until the next day in the car on the ride back to VA. Great food and wish there was one of these in my town. I’d eat there all the time. They need draft beer tho.

Every sandwich we’ve tried has been delicious. Super friendly staff, great snack and beer selection. You won’t be disappointed.

I got the prosciutto sandwich and it made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside, I could feel my tummy smile with each bite. Truly THE BEST sandwich i’ve ever had, hands down! I dream of the day that I’ll wander back into benny’s again and order myself another
